Yes. I do it all the time at Target and Best Buy. As long as it's sold and shipped by Amazon they will do it.
When I have done price matching at Target, I've always gone to customer service. I can't remember if they told me to do that at one point but it seems easier than going through the checkout line. At Best Buy, I've just gone right through the checkout line and never had a problem.
Target you can definitely price match, but you need to do it at customer service because they have to look it up on their own iPads. And it can be slow. And people may give you dirty looks.

Toys R Us and Office Depot. If I am shopping alone at Toys "R" Us, I will price check each item on Amazon. It's not always cheaper, but I will price match each one that is. It only occurred to me to check Office Depot's price match policy the other day while I was in the store. I was buying some oil based markers to paint pumpkins and the price seemed so high. Both stores did it right at the register.
