Yesterday bonuses were announced at work I forgot that last year's bonus was prorated because I wasn't there for a whole year, so it was almost twice last year's ;D My review during the bonus meeting was pretty good My house is so quiet and peaceful I'm two final exams away from my next professional certification I confirmed my plans with my bff for Thanksgiving earlier this week I got a huge compliment at my volunteer event last night about what I have done with them My friends are pretty cool My doctors are making real progress on my asthma issues Ok your turn. What are you thankful for today?
I am grateful for my husband and the strength of our marriage. We have been through many serious life changes this year and some pretty big disappointments. This has all transpired without fighting, we've stayed on each other's side, despite major stress. We wouldn't have survived without the other.
I am feeling pretty grateful in general today. I am especially thankful for my health, my friends, my job (even though a lot of it sucks, in reality I am pretty lucky), and for my amazing new shoes that are on a FedEx truck to my house right now. The sunny weather has me in an excellent mood.

DH. I've been working long hours this week and he has been really understanding- he even showed up the other night, at midnight, to the train station with dinner and my glasses/contact case (with solution). It is things like this that make me realize how lucky I am.
Thankful for having a kickass husband. Thankful for friends who are a blast. Thankful for a job that pays well and is generally bearable. Thankful my iphone and Keurig are both back in working order ;D
DH just found out yesterday he is getting moved to a higher job band at work- resulting in a 14% raise! And this is after he received an 8% raise as part of his annual review just 2 months ago.
We are very thankful as that high of a raise was definitely not expected.
I'm off work today, and even though I offered to call in to a conference call this afternoon, I was told to enjoy my day off and they would get the answer to my one question for me.
DH's paychecks haven't bounced. Yet. And he has 3 in his hand right now (including the replacements for the bounces).

I about an hour I get to put on my out of office, shut down my work computer, and start packing for my week and a half vacation that I leave for tomorrow! Very thankful for that.
I am thankful for my smart cookie H, who just got a 60% scholarship to a great school. And I am thankful for how happy the career switch is making him.
I am thankful for amazing parents.
I am thankful for a job that gives me incredible benefits and really good challenges and experiences (and some travel!).
I am thankful for our upcoming move, which is going to give me a MUCH shorter commute and puts me within three minutes of my best friend. We have all sorts of fun plans!
Yesterday, DH received an offer for a job he's really excited about. To boot, the compensation/benefits package actually exceeded our expecations: huzzah!
Kids are healthy and happy. That alone is enough, but the new job is icing on the Friday cake.

I'm thankful that I'll be 30 next year and not worse for the wear. Looking back at my teens and early 20's and I was really setting myself up to be a disaster.
