If your baby was breech in early third tri (I am 28.5 weeks), did he/she turn or remain breech? Did you do anything to help him/her flip?
Baby has been in the right position until this week (I thought he had flipped breech because the kicks were way lower the last few days, and he did). The doctors don't seem concerned, but I am anxious at the idea of a c-section (I have a fear of clots and embolisms post c-section, not the procedure itself. My neighbor almost died as a result of a post-c embolism.).
No advice, just following thread. I'll be 27 weeks tomorrow and baby was breech at 20 week u/s. I have another u/s at 32 weeks but I feel all kicks low and never know if they are kicks or punches. I have been going once a month to a chiropractor and she said if baby is still breech after my u/s they can try stuff too.

DD1 was breech at that point and flipped at 36 weeks and stayed head down until I was induced at 41w3d. My OB was never concerned. I did nothing to get her to flip.
DD2 was crazy. She was breech for a long time and then flipped at 37 weeks, with no help from me. Had a u/s at 39w6d and she was still head down. Then she wasn’t moving as usual at 40 weeks and when I went in after calling, she had flipped breech on her effing due date. OB still wasn’t worried (but was shocked and amused) and said if she could flip one way at 40 weeks, she could flip the other way. Sure enough, she flipped back within the next 48 hours and we went ahead and induced at 40w3d to avoid more somersaults.
All this to say that babies have minds of their own! Given that I did nothing to get them flipping the way they did I am a believer in babies flipping a certain way for reasons beyond our control.

Ds2 was very comfortable in the frank breech position in the third trimester. He was beech at 34 weeks, which is when I started doing inversions and knee-chest exercises. He flipped around 35 weeks because he was vertex at my 36 week appt. I was getting heart tones on the doppler pretty low in my pelvis. He stayed vertex.
Dd3 was similar. Breech at every ultrasound and most prenatal appointments. Confirmed breech at 33 weeks, and I went ahead and had a Webster adjustment done at 34 weeks and another at 35. I also did the same exercises that worked with ds2, but also sat exclusively on my birthing ball or lied on my left side until I delivered. Once she turned vertex, around 35 weeks, the exercises and sitting on the ball helped keep her vertex and engaged in my pelvis. She was at 0 station at 37 weeks (a first for me), so super low and locked in and ready.
I had a breech baby. Breech the whole time. We tried a version as I was a good candidate (plenty of fluid, prior births) but it didn't work. It wasn't bad, though. My experience with it was fine. I ended up having a c-section but had a very good c-section experience.

Following.. 36.5 weeks and doctor thinks baby is breech. Having an ultrasound on Wed to confirm but I had a feeling she was, and my doctor seemed fairly sure. I'm trying a few things from Spinning Babies but nothing too intense since we don't know for sure and because some of those things look difficult for me to do, lol. Doctor said she still has time to turn but from what I'm reading, it seems unlikely
My daughter was breech from the 20 week ultrasound onward. Around 34 weeks i started getting weekly ultrasounds to confirm breech position. I declined a version but tried a few spinning babies exercises. Ultimately I decided there was a reason she was breech and whatever that reason was, I didn’t want to mess with it. I was PGaL so that may have colored my viewpoint. I opted for a csection at just over 39 weeks.

No personal experience, but I look at babies all day on ultrasound. Kiddo has plenty of time. If you get to 33-34 weeks and he's still breech try putting a bag of frozen veggies where his head is.
My kid was transverse pretty much the entire pregnancy and nothing (including an ECV) could turn her so I had a scheduled c section. It’s a good sign if baby has sometimes been in the right position. Check out the exercises from the spinningbabies site. Early third tri is a good time to be thinking about this because baby can turn more easily while they are smaller.

DD was discovered to be breech at 37 weeks. I tried everything, chiro sessions, spinning babies exercises and even did an ECV at 38 weeks, 2 days which was unsuccessful. I had a c section the next day. I was very into the whole med free birth and was planning on giving birth at a birthing center with a midwife. However I loved my cs and recovery was easy. I'm doing a rcs with my next (I'm 24 weeks now).
It's so early! Your baby could flip multiple times. I wouldn't worry yet, but maybe try moderate measures like exercises. I absolutely would not recommend an ECV though.
I am actually fairly certain he flipped back today. I felt a weird roll and then kicks were much higher (though I have a feeling he'll go back and forth a lot more times...he's pretty active!).
My second was transverse most of the pregnancy. IIRC, it was 32ish weeks when I started seeing a Webster certified chiro to try to get her to vertex. It worked after 2 adjustments. She stayed vertex and then flipped to frank breech without me realizing (thought it was labor starting) at 40w5d. Delivered her vaginally at 40w6d. Happy to talk about that option if you're interested. (But I hope he stays vertex for you!)

Can I hijack? I see AmyRI mentioned the Webster technique - anyone else have experience? I just sent off a request to a local chiro to see if they can get me in this week for it. I'll be 37 weeks. I'm having a hard time telling for sure if she's breech (mentioned earlier my u/s is on Wed) but I almost feel like she's transverse because I tend to feel things more on my sides than anything. I've been trying the ice pack thing and a couple easier positions from Spinning Babies (but I have no idea if I'm doing them right). I have been reading a bit about c-sections to prep myself and I'm honestly scared of the recovery because of how much my appendectomy recovery sucked (and that's a much easier surgery, plus I didn't have to take care of a newborn immediately after). So I'd REALLY like to not end up with a c-section if I can help it!

I saw a Webster Chiro from weeks maybe 33-39. Didn't work for me, but I get the sense it works for many. If nothing else, it helped a ton with hip pain I was having anyway

My baby turned transverse/breech around 34 or 35 weeks. He'd been in a few different positions before that - both vertex and breech.
I tried Webster chiropractic and I am not sure if it did anything. I started on the late side (36 weeks) and a lot of what they adjusted as part of the Webster technique was way out of wack, so maybe it made my ECV easier.
I had a successful ECV at 38 weeks and he stayed vertex until delivery at 40 weeks. If you get to that point, I'm happy to talk about the option - I am very happy with my choice to do it. There are also a few providers in our area who do vaginal breech deliveries if the baby is in the right position (frank breech).

I was thinking this too.. if it doesn't help turn her, maybe it would at least help relieve some pain!
