Need noise-cancelling headphones advice

For Christmas DS#1 has asked for noise-cancelling headphones for working out at the gym.  I'm at a loss as to what are the best kind to purchase.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  tia

I see people with Beats at the gym all the time. They have over the ears or ear buds.

These are cordless, which would be nice at the gym (I am always hitting the cord with my hand). And the battery life is really good.

I have had the Beats top of the line ones, but I️ must say the Bose noise cancelling and Bluetooth wireless are far superior, if they are in your price range. Just my 2 cents. Happy shopping!

Bose are far better than beats. Honestly I did not like the beats at all.
