I'm convinced that a) UT is the actual worst coaching job that no one in their right mind would want and b) every single fan here is batshit crazy.
Full disclosure: I'm a transplant with no allegiance to UT and my kid's bff's dad is currently on staff brought on by the former coach so I think all the fans around here are nuts.

Florida has struggled too for the same reasons (and others). It’s too hard to build a program in the SEC that can meet high expectations.
I'm glad the fans complained about this. And I'm not at all surprised that his connection didn't bother those in charge of hiring at Ohio.
I’m not sure if it’s a fair comparison. Fans and media pay MUCH more attention to a head coaching position compared to a coordinator. I doubt most OSU fans even knew Schiano’s connection to the Sandusky stuff. And the hiring staff at Tennessee didn’t care either until there was fan backlash.
Did Sanders forget who her boss is? Not that I think UT should hire Schiano, but she spends her days covering up for Trump and as press secretary it seems like this wouldn't be something you wouldn't want to bring up.
SOMEFans of the University of Tennessee care more about football than our government. The entire state is in an uproar about the possibility of the new football couch covering for a child rapist, and yet the majority ofpeople of the state voted for Trump and many support Moore, an actual child molester.
I could care less about UTK football but I think it is sends a really bad message to hire Schiano.. or anyone involved in the PennState program during the Sandusky era. I just can't believe that no one knew nothing...
