Or something of that nature? I ordered an item online in September, which later turned out to be on back order. When I asked to cancel the order ($556) because of the delay, I was told I couldn't because of their cancellation policy. I was like "WTF", but let it go. They don't have an 800 customer service number and when I called it immediately went to voice mail. I've never been able to talk to an actual person--just by email.
After a few e-mails over the next few months, I was notified on 11/19 that the item I had ordered was no longer available and they were working on a refund for me. Radio silence since then. I sent an e-mail yesterday, and as of now haven't received a reply back yet. Is there an online entity where I can file a complaint?
I'm getting tired of these shenanigans. Needless to say, I'll NEVER order from this place again. I'm going to contact my credit card company today to see if they can do something, but it's already been three months so I suspect I'm SOL in that regard.

It should be super easy to get your credit card to reverse the charge. ETA: It might be three months since you made the purchase but it's only been one month since your last communication with them. Your CC merchant would probably have had you wait that long anyway to see if the refund went through.
I did hear back from the online company not long after I made this post. They said they were still working on the refund. Yeah...no. I contacted my bank this afternoon and they're going to issue a credit for me.

And just an FYI, the BBB isn't what it's cracked up to be. Any business can pay a fee to be BBB approved. And if they receive a negative rating from BBB, they can pay again to return to good standing. It's such a scam. I'm not sure if that's what it used to be but that's how it is now.
