Mittens is basically Jeff Flake. He'll give the occasional speech about decency and say that Mueller needs to do his job, but at the end of the day, he'll vote for the same piece of shit legislation and judges that the rest of the donor-coddling, Nazi sympathizing assholes in his party do.
Mitt met with orange foolius when begging for a job. If he were a senator he'd be less beholden. He's still a terrible person, but he might be able to be hid own kind of terrible
Yeah, I mean, don't get me wrong, I think that Mitt is a whole different animal than Trump and is likely a better person than Trump but I still expect that he would do a lot of Lindsey Graham-like 'concern' and hand wringing over things that Trump does, but ultimately do nothing.
I think Mitt is a better person than Lindsey Graham.
I don’t know how I make these evaluations. But in my mind there’s a hierarchy. John McCain fluctuates around on it A LOT
I feel like ranking people who choose to affiliate with the Republican party in this day and age is like ranking sexual harassers. Some people will tell you that Louis CK is arguably "better" than Harvey Weinstein, but they are both disgusting, so it's just not worth my breathe to try to decide who gets the gold in the deplorable Olympics.
A one off speech about how awful Roy Moore is and an above-average grasp of pre-existing condition exclusions means nothing when a lizard brain has his tiny scaly lizard hands on the nuclear button and the party lines up en masse to transfer billions of dollars to the rich while Puerto Rico stays dark, CHIP expires, DACA kids get deported, and Sessions moves to roll back major advances in civil rights reforms.
Plenty of Nazis didn't like child molesters either. They were still fucking Nazis.

There are no good Republicans.
To fix DACA, Puerto Rico, CHIP and everything else, we’re going to need to work with Republicans. That’s the nature of our 2 party system. So sometimes you need to find the ones you’re most able to work with. There will be people who are always disgusting and unreasonable, like Ted Cruz and his ilk. And there will be people who will occasionally be open to compromise on certain issues - people like Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski. And who knows, maybe Mitt Romney.
I’m so tired of the Nazi comparisons. The nazis systematically murdered 12 million people in 6 years and psychologically damaged millions more after keeping them in unfathomable conditions in camps. The Republicans are corrupt assholes. (This isn’t directed at you specifically. I’ve seen it flying around a lot lately)
The White House says President Donald Trump has spoken with Mitt Romney, the former Republican presidential candidate who has expressed interest in running for Senate in Utah.
The two men spoke briefly Thursday night. The White House says they spoke about Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch, who is retiring after four decades. Hatch’s departure opens the door for Romney, who has been a frequent critic of Trump in the past.
Trump had urged Hatch to run again.
Romney now lives in Utah, where he’s fondly regarded as the man who helped turn around Salt Lake City’s scandal-plagued 2002 Winter Olympics. During the last presidential campaign, Romney called then-candidate Trump “a fraud” who had “neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president.”
