We went out, the roads were fine to get wood for my friends fireplace. So i go out 2 hours later and boom, my wheels/steering wheel locked up, head hit the glass & messed up front end. Me vs. a tree on the wrong end of the road.
Sorry I wrote it while nodding off. I was making a right turn and my wheels locked up, along with my tires. Sliding me right into a tree that was on the northbound side (i was intending to go southbound) There’s a decent amount of front end damages.. and yes I hit the windshield and got a CT, along with a few finger splints.
I had barely edged out and was going less than 10mph when this happened. Yes I took an ambulance and there was an amazing woman who sat with me in the snow until help came.
Why are a few of you such horrible people and, well, assholes? My god. Should I have been writing with a head injury? No, it definitely didn’t sound right now that I re-read it. No I’m not on pain medication, my health has never been better and I don’t know why I’m even feeding the trolls and defending myself. However, definitely had my seatbelt on and definitely don’t deserve some of the comments directed at me.
I hope some of you aren’t such miserable broads in real life like this. I feel awful if you get your kicks from wishing someone on the internet such ill-will. JFC, if you don’t like me.. scroll on by or use the ignore feature. I may not agree with some or even LIKE some of you, but I’d never be such a crappy person as some of you act.
It’s a new year, try not being a shitty person to someone you don’t know for no reason?

Are your friends ok?
This makes less sense than the OP.
kayl84 - I hope you’re feeling ok today. Weird that your seatbelt gave you a bruise and you still hit the windshield. Maybe you’re sitting too close to the wheel. Also, you hit hard enough for your head to crack the windshield, but your airbag didn’t go off? I’d get that checked out.

She said 'we went out" to get wood. So I figured that it was possible she had someone in the car with her-OP wasn't clear.
Would a windbag deploy for a crash occurring at 10mph?
However, I don't feel like anyone was being an asshole. I saw people saying they hope you're okay, asking if you wore a seatbelt, and possibly a couple of assumptions that you weren't based on what you said. But nothing even remotely rude.
With that said, sorry to hear about your accident and your car, and I hope everything is on the mend and taken care of quickly.

She says they went out to get wood and roads were fine. Then said she went out a couple hours later. So I thought that part was clear. Maybe I misread.

It depends. My D t-boned someone going about 40 mph, then went into a ditch. Hit her head hard enough to have a concussion lasting 6 months, and break (lock) the seatbelt. The airbag didn't deploy. It was tested and replaced, but wasn't found to be faulty. But the repair shop and the dealership said it depends on the angle and other factors.

Yeah. Hitting an object would be different that getting hit by a car. Years ago A lady pulled in front on my H when it was snowing. When he tried to avoid her his SUV spun out of control and hit a tree. Hard stop. Tree didn’t move. Front air bag didn’t go off. It was a good thing I wasn’t in the car because passenger side was hit and seat ended up being smaller than the wing span of his hand.
OP, that’s very scary and i hope your feeling ok this morning.

I'm not trying to be a hater here, but things aren't adding up for me. You say that you were only going 10mph and you were wearing a seatbelt, yet you managed to hit the windshield hard enough with your head for it to crack and you have a bruise from the seatbelt? Maybe you should follow up with your doctor re: a head injury because I'm not sure that you are remembering things correctly.

Yeah, you’re not making me feel bad if that was your intent when you feel the need to shame people in every thread you can. So, get off your high horse and go fuck yourself with that nonsense.
None of this makes a bit of sense. People who point that out are not bitches. Nor are people who point out your terrible posting style or past history(ies).
Maybe you should use 2018 as an opportunity to wait 6-12 hours when you feel the urge to post. Particularly after something dramatic/traumatic, which you often have going on. You know, get your thoughts together, tie the truth (lies?) together into a plausible story, and THEN tell us the whole story/event in complete sentences with proper chronology, leaving out extraneous shit. After a long history of posting in such a manner, perhaps you will be taken a bit more seriously. Maybe.
I’m glad to read that you were wearing a seatbelt and I apologize for assuming otherwise. I hope you’re feeling ok today - my guess is you’ll be quite sore for awhile. Take care.
