The cover will start to sag after about 1 month, then getting holes in it after 4 months, and the holes keep getting bigger.. I end up changing the covers twice a year, and I think the covers should last longer.
I've heard Kuranda is the best - opinions? worth the cost? I need one big bed for both dogs.

I have the Coolaroo and also replace the covers about twice a year. I think it is pretty normal considering the use my dog gets out of it. He is 85 lbs and has an aversion to having his nails cut from a bad grooming experience as a pup.
My friend has a Kuranda for her dog who is similar in size and she replaces the covers often as well. Except she said replacing the fabric is a bitch on those.
I got my lab a kuranda after she chewed through 4 kong beds. It's been over 2 years & it's still in great shape, but she only really uses it when she's locked in her kennel (and she hasn't been kenneled for probably 6 months now). So, they're durable & she seems to like the bed... But I don't really know how it would hold up to daily use. And it was a bitch to put together by myself
