So I'm checking out renting through DVC Rentals or some such site (site TBD - taking recommendations), we've always used a TA, but I am exploring this option.
How can I find out what kind of sleeping arrangements there are? If I am looking at AKL Savanna view or BLT Theme Park view and the studio's, it states it sleeps 4 adults. Which is great. But is it a queen bed and pull out couch, because, I'm not sure that works for me. But 2 queens would work for me.

The only studios that have 2 queen beds are at Old Key West.
Studios and 1 bedrooms will have 1 real bed and 1 pullout couch. There are some studios and 1 bedrooms that will also have a twin sized murphy bed or pullout chair.
If you want to be guaranteed that everyone has a real bed you need to book a 2 bedroom.

Price out renting 2 studios at the Poly. It may be cheaper than a 2 bedroom.
Disney kinda failed with the 1 bedrooms- they really should have 2 beds in the bedroom. The extra space is nice but they dont hold any more people than a studio.

2 studios or a 2 bedroom would probably be better for 4 adults.
We stayed at a 1 bedroom at AKL on our honeymoon. I could see it working for 2 adults and 2 kids but not for 4 adults, not enough privacy to me.
We just last week at BLT in a studio and it was the perfect size for just DH and I. Our 12 y.o niece stayed 1 night with us and said the sofa bed was comfortable but I don’t see it being large enough for 2 adults to sleep comfortably.

I’m staying in a studio at BLT in a May, how was your view is there any area I should request? We have a lake view room I believe.

incognitony we were on the 15th floor, odd number room, lake view on the north side. We had the view of the lake and pool. If you want a lake view with some theme park view to see fireworks from your room request north side, higher floor in an even number room. Granted it’s a farther walk to the bridge to get to the Contemporary but it wasn’t that bad of a walk.
We did catch a fireworks show from The Top of the World Lounge. That was pretty awesome!
