We're about a week from doing FPs and I'm starting to pack some -- we're in WI so not exactly wearing our summer gear now. I'm realizing I don't have much in the way of decent-looking summer gear. I have some shorts, but I'm an XXL so they tend to do the inner thigh creep, which is NOT cute. I'm thinking I need to invest in some Bermuda shorts and capris. I have never found a t-shirt I like (I like a v or scoop neck and need a longer length), so I'm planning on a lot of tank tops, but I'm worried it won't look good in pics. I'm packing a cardigan because I tend to get cold in A/C, but I don't think the weather will be cold enough for wearing it outdoors at all?
Trip is the week of 4/22. Any recommendations for what sorts of clothes I should be packing? Am I right to think it will be pretty darn hot? I want to look nice in pics while still feeling cool and comfortable.
Tank tops, bermuda shorts, comfortable sneakers and/or sandals. You could also look into comfortable light weight dresses and put bike shorts underneath. Bike shorts (the tight spandex things) don't seem to ride up on my like other kind of shorts.

My go to clothing for hot weather and theme parks is a swing dress or a LLR carly with a pair of skimmies underneath. They look cute, keep you cool and are comfy enough for climbing in and out of rides.
We went last week and it was 80. It will easily be in the 90s by then. My mom said it was like 87 the other day (she lives close to Disney). And it will be humid as shit.
Light, comfortable clothing. Shoes you have walked in comfortably all day. Sunscreen. Maybe a hat if that’s your thing. And some ponchos. (Mixed chances of rain...usually you can count on PM storms in the summer, but sometimes in Spring too.)
We’re going in early/mid April and I’m basically going to do a mix of athleisure and dresses. It’s hard for me to find T-shirts too (I HATE the moisture wicking fabric) so I’m devoting all day Monday for that task. I’ve already got my Toms, sneaks, and Croc-like flats ready to go.

When we went the last week of April, it was pretty hot. I prioritized cool, comfortable clothing that would dry quickly. I figured I would look better in pictures being comfortable in athletic gear vs being sweaty and gross in cute clothes. I wore v-neck athletic t-shirts (the loose, breathable kind) with shorts or knee length leggings that I knew wouldn't ride up. I was super worried about thigh chafe so I practiced walking in all of my bottoms before packing them. I also packed body glide in my little first aid kit. I never needed a cardigan, but I did pack thin rain jackets for everyone which we did use.
I am local and it has been hot already (although I wear cardigans in the morning). I always prefer to cover my shoulders on park days because the sun is brutal. Something to keep in mind if you burn easily.

We just got home and to us northerners it already felt hot: shorts/tank top weather. Other people were in jeans still. We were sweating.
If you’re looking for a great cardigan option check out the sun wraps from coolibar. They are spf 50 and keep you safe in the sun, are pretty cool in the sun, but an extra layer indoors. I love mine.
