Anybody buy anything fun recently? My mom's birthday is coming up and I like up get her clothes, bags, shoes etc that she wouldn't splurge on herself so hoping for some inspiration.
The only thing I bought recently is an auto rock n play, which while absolutely amazing, isn't exactly a fun buy.

I am a HUGE Green Bay Packers fan, and I recently bought a green sparkle YETI with a Packers logo on Etsy. It's amazing!!! (To me this is fun because I love my coffee and I love my Packers. Lol!)
Probably not exciting to anyone else, but I was in need of new pullover sweatshirts. I purged a lot of my sweatshirts a while back. LL Bean has a great sale going on, and then a 25% off coupon code that can be stacked. The fleeces came out to $33 each.
The Vineyard Vines sweatshirt wasn't on sale, but I love the color, and know I will wear it out. I used to have a sweatshirt this color and wore it until holes started appearing.
I also snagged a new fleece Patagonia vest. I traded in an old jacket that had been sitting in my closet by utilizing their "Worn Wear" program. I was given store credit. Score! They resell the items on their new WW site.
I came in here to recommend the Patagonia retool pullover I just got. Same colors as your vest. It's so soft!
It's a great fabric!
Check this. I grabbed that photo for this post and realized that the price had dropped by $22 since I purchased the fleece a day or two ago. I used the live chat feature on the Patagonia website and they are processing a refund to me for $22. They didn't have my size in the store so they ordered it. I was able to use the order number for them to confirm my purchase price and then process the refund. Woot! So I paid like $12 or something for the vest after the refund and my Worn Wear credit.
It was a total splurge at that price. But I feel most confident in that color as I have really pale skin and blonde hair. It can be hard to find vibrant shades of blues, purples, teal, green, etc. (They also tend to sell out fast, too!) So I snag things I love in those colors when I see them. I'm now set on long sleeved tops and sweatshirts for a long time.

I found some Nordstrom gift cards I didn't know I had, so I bought myself some shoes 1 pair for my kickboxing classes and 1 pair for everyday wear. They are so comfortable!
If anyone is in the DC/Balt area and looking for a piano, I highly recommend Rick Jones Pianos. They were super helpful. I think I spent 6 hours in the store trying to make up my mind lol.
I haven't started yet. I need to get my tush in gear to get CPR certified and then my two rides down pat. THen I need to practice, especially with a mic, in the hopes I won't sound like a total idiot. lol Honestly, I am most scared about the last part.

I would suggest practicing in that room with the music on full blast and have someone in the room giving you feedback. I had one instructor that would talk WAY too loud in her microphone and it gave me a headache by the end of the class. I went to her twice and would never go back, only because of how she spoke int he mic!
I am sure you will do fine :-) I do not think you are capable of sounding like an idiot in spin! I have instructors that crack WAY cheesey jokes and sign along (not well) to songs. It makes for a better hour for sure.

I will definitely be doing that. IN fact my friends from the class offered to sit in on a practice run I will be doing that. lol
I finally have my set list done, now will have to ride it to see that it works. The music is mixed; most of the people in the class are 50+ and do not want an entire class of EDM.

It is beautiful! I think that is where my neighbor got theirs, sounds like a great place. Do you know if they do tuning as well?
Scarlett had a bright green crib!!! I loved that thing. Then when my brother got his girlfriend pregnant, I gave it to them TO USE and he painted it white without even asking me or mentioning it. #stillbitter
