Do you supply everything? And if so what do you have on hand? I have tons of cleaning products but wasn't sure what I should supply with it....like paper towels or something?
I'm looking to have someone come once a month to clean. I had a lady come about 2 weeks before baby #3 came and just had her do bathrooms and kitchen. I didn't realize she would use our cleaning supplies (I didn't mind since she was pretty reasonably priced) but was unprepared.
All I supply is the vacuum. I take it out of the closet the night before they come so that it's out and ready when they get here. Other than that they use all their own supplies, towels, trash bags (they put all our trash into big black trash bags in the back of their truck and then dispose of it), etc.
They didn't ask for this but I choose to clear all bathroom counters and showers/tubs. I can guess it's much easier to get a good clean shower with all the stuff removed and easier to clean a bathroom without crap in the way so I go ahead and do that.
I just fired mine this week, which, ugh. I am dreading the process of having to find someone new, but she broke something very valuable and special to me. I can accept that accidents happen to everyone, but instead of leaving a note, or calling, or texting, she kinda-sorta put it back together-ish and put it back up on the mantle, seemingly in hopes that I might not notice, or at least might not notice until it was long enough afterward that I wouldn't know it was her. Nope.
Anyway, when she cleaned for us, we supplied everything she needed. I preferred that so I could decide what products she would use. We supplied rags, paper towels, disinfectant and other cleaners, brushes, sponges, the vacuum, the whole nine. When she ran out of something, she would leave the empty on the kitchen table so I'd know to buy more before she came again. She was an individual, rather than working for a service, so I don't know if that varies depending on the arrangement.
I supply all the cleaning products, vacuum, mop, broom/dustpan, paper towels, gloves and rags. She has occasionally bought things and I’ve reimbursed her for them, things like a new mop or new rags.
This was our agreement from the start though. When she came to give me a quote we discussed what things I had and what I’d need to buy for her. It wasn’t a surprise. She leaves me a note if she runs out of something so I can buy it before she comes back.

I supply vinegar and stainless steel cleaner and the vacuum. That’s it. She uses vinegar to clean everything except the floor and she has her own floor cleaner that she likes to use.

We had a cleaning lady for awhile when I was a kid. She did the exact same thing to something of mine. Accidents happen, but don't hide them. My mom fired her, and I'm not sure that my mom has ever totally gotten over it.
To answer the question, the person I'm dreaming of calling to clean my house uses all of her own "natural" products.
I supply the cleaning products but she tells me what she wants me to get. She brings her own vacuum but that’s only because she prefers her vacuum over mine.
They've always provided their own stuff. The exception was one lady who only used water to mop my hardwoods. We asked her to use Murphys Oil (the floors were much cleaner after that!).
Ours provided a detailed list of the types of products they wanted us to supply, in some cases with recommended brands. They would supply their own for an additional cost, but it is all stuff that I had on hand anyway.
They do bring their own vacuum though for some reason.

We supply everything. I asked her what her favorite supplies where and then have her write me a note for things I’m out of. She knows where the bucket, mop, vacuum, towels, supplies, clean towels...are. Which reminds me she’s coming Monday and we’re out of stuff. Best money we spend each month
We supply everything. We had a cleaning lady before who’d bring her own stuff, but I prefer to choose the products she uses. When we run out of something she texts me and I replace it the following week. She occasionally purchases some items and I include the cost in her weekly check. We usually have in hand: windex, multipurpose cleaner, leather cleaner, wood cleaner (I like Method for all these), stainless steel cleaner, bathroom supplies, Bona for our hardwoods. Paper towels, trash bags, mop, vacuum, etc.

Exactly this unless she doesn’t like my vacuum so she brings her own, which I find hysterical for some reason.

I don't understand why it's funny.
Idk? I guess it’s just amusing to me that she would rather lug this big canister vacuum to my house than use mine. I mean, my vacuum is perfectly fine.

I supply the vacuum, microfiber mop, steam mop, paper towels, trash bags, and most cleaning solutions. She supplies her own gloves, bucket, the stuff she likes to use in the shower (can’t find it in my neighborhood grocery store), and sponges. She puts the steam mop and microfiber mop pads in the washing machine once she is done and runs it. I wouldn’t let someone else bring their vacuum for the reason that CloudBee noted above.
