I’m getting a pedi mani right now and went with a berry wine color by opi. She just put the bottle away but I love it. Wintry but still light for Florida heat right now

Finally picked up the Essie gel couture to try out. I went light to make sure i like the formula. Too early to tell but the color is a nice bare nail look.

Prior to this I had on Essie Petal pusher, it's one of my favorite winter shades!
I don't usually paint my fingernails, but about this time of year, I usually paint my toes the brightest/happiest color that I have! It's the dead of winter and no one sees my toes anyway. A bright color reminds me that spring will eventually come!

This was my last one and I loved it a lot I think opi
Oh I like it with shimmer! I posted a pic of mine in my Instagram keyah_coach matches my yoga pants too lol
I’m usually a very pale pink like ballet slipper or nothing at all. I’m going Tuesday for mani pedi and was thinking of doing Essie splash of grenadine which is a dusty deep pink not at all what I would picture it from it’s name.
Right now I have a bright turquoise, one of the My Little Pony shades from China Glaze. It seems too bright for the gloomy weather though. I'm going to take it off tonight or tomorrow and do one of my favorites, OPI My Private Jet. Or maybe a dark red/wine with a matte topcoat. I have a matte topcoat that I've only used a few times.
Is this Essie Gel Couture something I can do at home? I usually do gel or powder but the expense on a regular basis is killing me. I tried Wet n Wild one step gel and that shit worked out about as well as expected (chips in one day).
