it depends on your mail program, but you could try C&Ping the image into the email body and see if that works. There might be a way to "embed" the image in the email vs. "attaching" it.

I just copy/past the image into my email. Beware though if you're planning on using Outlook, because apparently Outlook 2010 does not allow GIFs! I damn near requested to revert back to 2003 when I realized that.
And....it's surprisingly difficult to find funny Christmas morning GIFs- WTF?

I have gmail.
open up a new email and hit the photo image whose alt text is "insert image". its an image of mountains.

I know, right? I mean, you'd think there'd be tons of stuff.
But I might have to make a few with gifsoup.
I was specifically looking for the part in the Christmas Story where the younger brother is just ripping apart the gifts and then tossing them over his shoulder. But, nope.

You can do what people in the military always do. Powerpoint attachment! Seriously, even the information for the christmas party was done in a ppt attachment.
But, at least it allows the email to go through. Not everyone can see embedded images.
