I saw the news, but then saw a Twitter conversation where people were saying she really wanted a home birth for this baby, and her going to the hospital is a bad sign. I thought home birth had been discussed, but a hospital birth was always the first plan.

I think the hospital was definitely always planned. There are rumors with each birth for her that she wants a home birth but I think if she wanted one, she would have one, especially since her “home birth” would still involve a full team of doctors etc.
It's St George's Day in England so a lot of people are losing their minds over here about it.
Yes, I've seen many tweets saying they used George as a name too early, but if it's a girl they could name her Georgia. (I'm hoping for Alice or Maud if it's a girl; I would love them to use Leopold or Arthur for a boy, but that's probably hoping too much.)

A home birth was likely never under consideration it’s just a rumor that goes around every time.
I like Frederick or Michael. Not really the typical royal names (at least in recent history), but classic nonetheless.
Michael Middleton's middle name is Francis, and his father's name was Peter Francis if that gives anyone other guesses. Prince Harry's full name is Henry Charles Albert David.
Long shot possibility of Andrew as a middle name? They can't use the name of a current prince of the United Kingdom as a first name, IIRC, but since they met at St Andrew's and Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland, perhaps? (Patrick and David are the patron saints of Ireland and Wales respectively, George is England.) Huh. Maybe David as an outlier.
I don't think Henry will be the first name since that is Prince Harry's actual first name.
I would bet James is in there somewhere since it's her brother's first name but also has a lot of Royal Family history too, but probably a middle name.
