I came across one recently called Fan Chest that is sports team swag. I'm not a sports fan but I plan on gifting in the future when the need arises.
Not sure if it's a monthly subscription, the pricing made it sound one off. But in that case it's strange you can't pick the items included in the box.
Popsugar is fun. My husband has even bought the one for men. I normally wait until they release one spoiler before ordering.
I got a year of a Loot Crate for Hanukkah and so far I am not impressed at all. The box was okay but the first one was two weeks late and for the current one they emailed us after it should have arrived and said it was being mailed out 5 weeks later than usual. It still hasn’t gone out yet. Plus they send me 2-3 emails a day about other boxes and sales and you can’t remove yourself from the list without removing yourself from all emails from them even updates about your subscription. And their website is 1990s era and useless to check shipping dates etc, I have to pretend like I am buying the subscription I already have to see when it would ship out vs just looking at my account.
I had Sephora Play for a while but there were some months when it would be all sunscreen or something I didn’t really need or want. The Target boxes are fun and you can preview them before ordering. They have a lot more high end products than they used to and come with a good coupon if you want to buy anything.
I get the Tokyo Otaku Mode Japanese snack crate when it is cooler weather out. It comes from Japan and takes a while to arrive after it ships (but arrived perfectly each time) so I don’t want to get during months that are hot because the contents might melt. Lots of fun snacks that aren’t sold here. I get the mega boxes for like 3-5 months a year and there enough snacks for a full year in there.
I like the Mighty Nest. Each month you get one product to help you be more environmentally friendly at home (wool dryer balls, steel or glass food storage containers, fabric produce bags, etc). And each month you can add on to the shipment to purchase other “green” home items with free shipping.
I’ve gotten some products I really love, including a few that I would never have purchased myself. There have also been some duds, but for me they are rare.
I get FabFitFun and like it- I prepay the year so I can select options on a decent number of things in it to get stuff I'll actually use. I also use some of the items as gifts (scarves, jewelry, candles, etc.).
DD gets Little Passports and loves it- a souvenier, activities, and info about a different country each month, and more stuff for each online.
The dog gets BarkBox and loves everything in it, the treats are usually pretty good and she's a toy destroyer so it's handy for us.
I've had PopSugar, Birchbox and now am trying FabFitFun. I also get Target's boxes on occasion.
I know some people feel overwhelmed with Birchbox samples but their sizes are actually perfect for me. I don't use enough make up to justify full size $$$ products that I don't love/use every day and I actually ended up trying half a dozen things over the course of the year that I ended up buying, including key things like shampoo that works really well for me, a new fragrance and mascara, so I think it was money well spent.
I loved the home/office/accessories from PopSugar. They weren't always things I could use (a yoga mat when I already had one, a travel pillow and blanket when I don't fly) but also made great gifts. I didn't love their haircare/beauty as much and actually ended up with a hair mask that damaged my hair.
The best part is the surprise and I also think I got good value out of the boxes I've tried so far.
Also, a friend just posted a book club box that I want to try next. Apparently, you get a book and then several gifts that are marked by pages that you are supposed to open as you experience the book. She said all her authors have been female so far and she really likes it.
We get monthly Kiwi boxes for the kids. My oldest gets the 9-10 STEM box, middle gets the 5+ arts and crafts box, and the youngest gets a toddler box. They love them. The projects are always very interesting and well designed. Totally worth $10/month.

I was getting Sephora play for a long time. I liked it and found some makeup that I use regularly through it. There were a lot of samples I don’t use though, like face primer, so I decided to cancel.
I had a free code for a barkbox, so the dog gets that for the next few months (Had to committ to a 6 month subscribtion to use the free box code) I will be canceling it after. He doesn't need 2 new toys every month. There is always one larger chew treat/bone and then a couple bags of little treats. He's 95lbs, so the little treats aren't what we'd usually get. Though they are good to have on hand for walks.
I love BoxyCharm. For $21/month you get 5-6 FULL size products. And the stuff is always worth a lot more than that. Last month was a Dr. Brandt mask that retails for $47. Plus an eyeshadow pallet, a Tarte highlighter, a liquid lipstick and a brow gel. I keep a box of stuff that I don't like and give it to my friend and her daughter.
I used to do Birchbox, but they changed the point system and I kept getting repeats and stuff I didn't like/use.
I also get the Target boxes when they are good. I just got the mask box (that they have in store) and I like it.
I get the Allure beauty box - I love it, been getting it for 3 years now. Lots of high end skin and hair care, various make up items like lipstick/eyeshadow/nail polish, and some random stuff - candles, body moisturizer, face masks.. I look forward to it every month!
I get Ipsy, and I love it. I recently switched my preferences around because I was getting too many lipsticks that I didn't love and I now have SO MANY black eyeliners, but once I switched it around, I'm getting new stuff that I want to try again. I've gotten a bunch of products that I really love, and find it to be well worth the $10/month.
I used to get Birchbox, but it really started to suck after they changed their point system so I canceled. I got my first Barbella box yesterday. I think I'll like it for workout gear, but will probably skip boxes occasionally. My husband gets Gainz box and really enjoys it. I'd really like to eventually try Boxycharm.
The Kiwi boxes and the bookclub box sounds awesome. I'll definitely look into those.
I just signed up H for the mighty nest box for our anniversary. It looks like a number of the products are ones we were planning on getting anyway (more re-usable grocery bags, produce bags, non-plastic food storage, etc), and $10/month seems like a good deal.

A friend got me a few months of Goodbeing which has natural beauty / health products. It was fun and I liked some of the items, but I didn't repurchase any of them. It did make it easier to try out lesser known brands, though.

My girls get OwlCrate and OwlCrate JR, which are super fun for them. I haven't really tried any subscription boxes for myself, although I have been thinking about getting the book box mentioned above by Circa.

We get a few.
I get a firefly lootcrate every other month, and love it, as well a harry potter one. They were both gifts, and I've been mostly happy with them.
DH got a lootcrate and a gamers lootcrate. He cancelled one of them, but I'm not sure which he kept. I think he kept the gamers one?
We also get a Japenese candy one, which my daughter adores.
We've thought about the barkbox but we have 3 pups, who all range in size from 6lbs to the 160lb Great Pyr. I don't want to buy three boxes every month.
Sephora Play. Love it! Target. Usually decent. Love that I know what’s in it before I buy. Walmart. I’m eh about it but I just can’t convince myself to cancel.

I swear that stuff felt like it was burning my face off and I have tough skin
It made my skin feel really cold/tingly. But I liked the way my skin felt afterwards... really smooth and clean. I used it again last night, but only on my chin (where I tend to break out) and nose.

I get a Dia box every month (it's like StitchFix but specifically for plus-sized) and I love it. I have gotten a lot of cute things that I wouldn't normally choose myself.
I used to get Yarn Box but I stopped when I wasn't getting yarn that I was in love with.
I subscribed to Stitch Fix two months ago. Got my 1st box in March and my second one is scheduled for May. My 1st box was so-so but since it was the 1st time and I didn't do a Pinterest board, I am eager to see what my 2nd box will be like. This time, I gave them a ton of pictures and styles. We shall see.

Probably unhelpful, sorry. Ha!
My parents got DH one for Christmas and it was awesome. Nice quality apparel and just little mascot things. Highly recommend
My kids get the kiwi crate boxes appropriate for their ages. My DS1 (7)loves them and my DS2 (2) is uninterested so I just put his on hold and will start up again in a few months. I get mighty nest and love it. I order from their website frequently and the subscription gets you free shipping and discounts on certain things so it’s definitely been useful and money saving.
I’ve gotten snack and beauty boxes in the past and find that there are so many things I don’t end up using they just pile up in the pantry or bathroom so I’ve stopped all of them.

I don’t know if it’s technically a subscription box, but I get Bootay Bag. They send you two pairs of underwear every month. It costs $13 and you can choose between thong, never thong, or mix it up. They share photos of the underwear on their website beforehand and you can skip the month if you want.
