Sometimes, studying is a drag! There are other things to do in college, like learn about life!

The Princeton Review has put together their list of the 10 least studious schools. On it? A number of different institutions, including 7 schools in the south. We totally get it -- who would want to study when there is such sunny weather outside?

2. University of North Dakota

3. West Virginia University

4. City University of New York--Baruch College New York, NY.

5. University of Mississippi

6. University of Maryland-College Park

7. Florida State University

8. University of Iowa Iowa City, IA.

9. James Madison University Harrisonburg, VA.

10. The University of Alabama--Birmingham

Baruch being up there is interesting. It's well-known for its business programs. Business students don't like to study, I guess?

Whew, neither my alma mater nor my current institution made the list. (Kinda makes me question their methods!)

When I was getting my Ph.D., part of my assistantship was teaching undergrad courses. I had an exam scheduled in one on a Thursday. That week, there was mass amounts of copious whining.

"We CAN'T have an exam on Thursday. It's LSU weekend AND HalloWEEN!!!"

That's right. They were arguing that they could not take an exam on Thursday because of the events that were happening on the weekend, two days AFTER the scheduled exam.
