My go to is LOFT Marissa Fit (but this is because I have no butt, but a little hip). Loft also has curvy - but not sure what size pant you are. They go up to a size 18.
LOFT has plus size now! Pants up to size 26!!!!!!!
For those wondering about sizing, I wear the same size at LOFT as I do at Old Navy.
LOFT is weird sizing though for me. I wear an 8 in ON pants, but a 4 or a 6 in LOFT depending on the style (Slim vs Skinny). And the crazy thing about ON to me is that I lost about 10-12 pounds, so none of my former LOFT pants fit, yet the ON pants do. STRANGE.
Yes we do! I was told my feet are really flexible, which is great for dance but apparently awful for trying to recover from foot injuries. NitaX please save us from ourselves!
So... I actually know quite a bit about this because of my sister's car accident and her shattered sesamoid bones and other associated injuries.
Frankly, it's unlikely you'll find a shoe stiff enough. You should look for an orthotic insert. She actually has one that has a metal plate in it to provide the level of rigidity needed. She got it thru her physical therapist.
Thank you, I appreciate it. At this point, it seems to be a minor sprain that just isn't healing because I haven't been properly resting it. I'll keep that in mind to talk about with orthopedics when I go in next.
I have hesitated to buy ankle pants, especially because I hate cold ankles in the fall, winter and early spring. Lately though my trouser pants have been feeling really baggy in the leg. How do people think ankle pants look with non-flowy tops? I would also love to find some short sleeve versatile blazers or cardigans in white, Black, etc. anyone seen any?

I think they work with any shirt that you wear normal pants with. I don't really wear flowy tops. I wear them with t-shirts, or with tanks and cardigans. If I didn't WFH, I'd wear them with blazers to work.
I also wear them with a sweater and flats in the winter. I live in an area without real seasons though.

I don’t wear regular Croc sandals, but for those with the like of crocs, but not the look, I have canvas flats from several years ago that are so comfortable. I might buy these to wear for the summer (my work is pretty casual):
6' and 35" yo. The Sloan/Ryan from BR come in tall and do alright on me.
But it's 100% about where on the ankle it hits. And I've never been able to wear them with, like, sneakers or such because that just looks hella weird to me because I have issues. So it's either heels or pointy-toe dress flats.
I would REALLY love to try the ones on Long Tall Sally but the crotch fit on theirs look weird on the models and it makes me scared to try.
I've realized that I cannot wear pointy toe dress flats. For some reason, they make my feet (size 10, I'm 5'11 so they are the size they should be!) look soooo long. I feel like I'm always wearing clown shoes. I hate it since I think pointy toe dress flats are so freaking cute!
I wear a size 11. 😃
I am beginning to think, based on so many responses in this post, that we all have lots of unfounded impressions when it comes to what we think we can/cannot wear.

I woke ankle pants earlier this week with a cardigan and it was fine.
Also, are you looking for a short sleeved blazer? Those exist?

If you have cankles, do ankle pants work? I don't know if I really have them bad, but I don't have nice delicate, defined ankles and have usually avoided anything that highlights them.

they do. I see them occasionally. I used to own one a million years ago. They skew flight attendant pretty easily though when you try to make them actual business wear. They work better as a casual thing with jeans. (eta: ON ME ANYWAY. they might be ADORABLE on mrspez.)

I’m starting to think they don’t. I have so many tops that need a bit more of something for work, and my short sleeve cardigan and older blazers are wearing out (and apparently not in style anymore!)
If anyone has any blazer recommendations, I could use them. I'm struggling to find a basic blazer that is business casual and able to be dressed down. And will fit a large chest. I can't get a good feel for the blazers online since they typically only show models with smaller chests.

they must be reeeeally out of style, because after searching for them I'm suddenly getting anti-aging cream and jitterbug ads in proboards.

I agree!
One thing I figured out not so long ago. I really think the real thing that guides what does/doesn't look good on a person is torso length relative to the rest of the body. Tall, short, heavy, thin, hourglass, pear etc etc, I don't think any of these things matter as much as the torso. Chest size is probably the second most important thing. The rest of the stuff doesn't really matter as much as the fashion industry would have you believe.
My torso is non-existent. I'm basically boobs on top of hips. Once I understood that and read some style blogs on tips for short waisted dressing, it became so much easier to dress myself and see clothes online and know whether they'd work.
It also became so much less frustrating, because I finally understood why things looked absurd on me. It wasn't because of my weight, it was because I wasn't choosing the right clothes. I have fewer returns and unworn clothes in my closet.
Ladies, if you don't know if you are short or long waisted, go down a Google rabbit hole. Your closet will be happier for it.

I have an Old Navy, a Lands End (sale velvet, so I'm guessing not summery enough), and Macy's blazers that I like. I don't wear them often - probably 2-3 times per month only for meetings, and I rarely button them. But I found that I with DD boobs that a blocky, longer blazer doesn't work, so I have instead looked in the petite section, the shorter ones seem to have the buttons in a better spot to highlight my figure. Or I look for seams or details that create a fake hourglass.
The Macy's one is like this, but not exactly, and I find that the seams on the sides are more flattering...
I also have a peplum one that I think I got at Target ages ago - it's more casual and I never button it. Sort of like this, so it's less flowy than some peplum designs:

I’ve given up on blazers entirely. However, my favourite French pattern company just launched this modern blazer inspired jacket and I am in love. Obviously, this only works if you can sew and all that jazz:

Banana Republic's boyfriend blazer works well for me. I sized for my boobs but took it to a tailor for the sleeves / shoulders needed a little alternating. It's by far my favorite. I just went to their web site and they have it in gray so now I'm seriously considering it as mine is in black.
