OMG, Nicole. I want to smack her. The way she treats her mother is horrible. And…I can not imagine that the dress she got is going to be the least bit appropriate for a wedding in Morocco. It is frustrating how absolutely obtuse she is regarding life in Morocco despite having visited there twice already.
And Chantel’s family ***really*** needs to let it go. I guess that this is their story line, but the harping is over the top. If I were Chantel, I would have gone home early from the family trip. They are being disrespectful at this point.
Yes to both. Nicole's mom needs to stop indulging her. I get that you can't stop her since she is an adult, but that does not mean you need to fund it.
Chantel's family needs to back off. Every time they were all together it was an interrogation and they wonder why he left the table. Who wants to be confronted when it is 4 to 1? they are assholes. His family is not great either. She is an adult. Let her marriage flourish or fail, that is up to the two of them. Also, I hate this attitude that everyone wants to come to the States.

I understand Nicole’s mom is walking a very thin line…at least Nicole’s dress didn’t cost $2k. But yah, a bit of tough love might be in order. I find it interesting that Nicole thinks Azan’s family is going to foot the bill for the wedding since it’s happening in Morocco. She is delusional.
If I were Pedro, I would stop going to family meals for the rest of the trip. Neither of their families are handling things with any sort of grace. The potential conspiracy theories that Chantel’s mother comes up with…and enough about harvesting the American dollar. Though, if Pedro’s mom is an attorney, why does he have to financially support her and the sister? His mom and sister’s entitlement is in overdrive.
Paola appears to finally start standing by her husband when it comes to Juan. Juan is a jealous and mean spirited man. Paola has handled her move to the US with Russ rather poorly, but Juan is a pot stirring jerk.
Jorge is clueless and I think they both are pretending to get back together for the sake of their paychecks. They both need the money and, I think, Anfisa likes being on television. She has gotten smarter about what she’s willing to discuss on camera. They are boring this season.
David and Annie…David, check back in once you get a job. A real job.
Ugh, Nicole! That dress did not fit! Can a corset really make that much of a difference? She is so childish I can't stand it. I can't believe she put her Mom on the spot like that with buying the dress. I will admit I do not know about Muslim or Moroccan weddings, but I am guessing her dress is not appropriate.
I cannot stand Louis. He is such a loser.
David needs a job, stat. I wonder how they are even buying food? He is older and I am guessing he has no retirement savings, otherwise I imagine he would be pulling from it. Their outlook does not look good.
Juan is so dramatic that I can't believe it is even real.

Didn’t David mention that he had a stroke previously? Ever since he said that, I’ve had a hard time judging him. I know people who have suffered strokes and they were never the same (mentally) after it happened. I do wonder if it is to blame for some of his decision making and thought processes.

He did and that is when he moved to Thailand. Gave up his job and moved. BUT he was working for Chris and it seems Chris always paid his way so I am not sure if his thinking now is stroke related or he just got used to being taken care of and not having to do anything for it.
How was she saying it? I did not notice last night.
She was saying it like Corvette, except an s instead of a v.
I deleted it already but it might have just been the emphasis on a different syllable. It just irked me when the sales woman said it and then Nicole said it the same way.
I sadly don't think Chantel Family is acting. I really think they think they've stumbled onto some crazy Dominican wedding ring that is targeting unsuspecting Americans. None of them really open their mouth much when they speak which really freaks me out.

I don't love that Pedro thinks nothing of fully supporting his mom and sister but does not seem to grasp he needs to support the family he has created with Chantel.
That said, her family needs to accept that their daughter met and fell in love with Pedro and they are MARRIED. So let it all fucking go. They are annoying.
Yep totally agree on this season being fake. I can't even get through this latest episode it's so boring. I'm about half way through. Of course I haven't made it to the Nicole wedding dress shopping yet lol

You're not missing anything. An ill-fitting dress, a mom being forced into buying something for her ungrateful daughter, and the daughter thinking for some reason that her Moroccan boyfriend wants to marry her and that his family will pay for their wedding.
