This is old but here are photos of our kitchen (white cabinets) after we renovated. The backsplash wasn’t in yet but it’s just a white subway tile, so easy to visualize
We got stuck on backsplash decisions and still don’t have one. (Stuck for 7 years now. 😢) My main issue is that back wall extends into our living room area, so I never could figure out where/how to end a backsplash. (That wall didn’t have cabinets on it before we renovated the kitchen.) And our front entry is just to the right of this photo, so wasn’t sure if backsplash should go around that either. I probably need to consult a designer or something.

My kitchen is about 2 years old and like a proud momma I never skip an opportunity to show her off!
I love my vinyl plank flooring, which is about 10,000 times easier to clean that the ceramic tile with light grout that I had before, and it was probably the cheapest component in the project. And do not skimp on the cabinetry. Also some details:
isabel , what is your countertop? I love it and it is exactly the look I would want in my kitchen!
I'll see if I can dig out the paperwork tonight. The previous owner's did the kitchen, so I don't remember all the details. I believe it is an engineered marble. I think there is more information in the estimate they left for us though.

Don't go to too much work! I can drag myself out to look at counter places when we're ready.
I have white cabinets (BM White Dove), concrete countertops, white subway tile backsplash, and gray walls (SW Repose Gray iirc). Floors are cork-backed vinyl plank.
We just finished it last August.
No apologies for the mess in the sink, because that's life.

End the backsplash right at the cabinets, and finish off with a bullnose trim.

Haha, no big deal. The paperwork is in our laundry room. I just need to remember to pull it out tonight and take a look at the kitchen reno details.
We just finished about 4 weeks ago and I’m in heaven. It felt like an eternity to get this addition done but it was so worth it in the end. Quartz Countertops and the backslash is a mix of glass and stainless steel.

A+ job on this J!! It's honestly so perfect.
Thank you! I actually didn't think it would turn out so good. The day they installed the counter tops I HATED IT because it made my cabinets look yellow. I must have changed my mind on the backsplash a dozen times. I was having major purchase regret and my contractor told me to just hold out until it's done. Not to mention, living in our garage for 3 months....I was so OVER IT. But it came together. Those light fixtures weren't even supposed to happen. Pottery Barn was fucking around and delaying my order for months. Total fluke that I was browsing Amazon one day and found them. For $99! Super happy with everything and that's what a renovation should feel like.

Our house is still under construction. Sorry if these are kind of big. We picked the gray cabinets and backsplash from photo 1 and that will be our kitchen layout, but we chose quartz instead of granite, which you can see in photo 2.
They come in various sizes and glass colors. Sizes are 11", 13" and 16" and I chose the 13". For color you could go Clear, Sea Green or Blue Gray and I chose Blue Gray. I also bought the matching pendant for over my sink.
I paid $249 for all 3 lights and I think it's such a great value!
