Anyone here by chance familiar with or live near Lake Geneva? We are headed there tomorrow-Sun for a little anniversary getaway. We grew up in northern IL so we have been many times and don’t really want to shop. Our hotel has a nice outdoor pool so our plan was leisurely Saturday drinking by the pool but the forecast is now 70 and rain
So any awesome wineries or other indoor things we could do? If it’s just cool but not raining, we also love hiking. Fav nearby hiking trails? I am so bummed about the weather but determined to still have fun.

Where are you staying? The Abbey Resort has an awesome indoor adults-only spa pool that you can take advantage of if you have a spa treatment. You could do your treatment and then lay by that pool all day. You can order food/drinks right to your lounge chair. It is a heavenly way to spend a few hours!!
I live close to Lake Geneva, but we usually just walk around, eat and people watch when we go there (we're kind of boring, I suppose!) . The boat tours are fun and if you haven't gone on one I highly recommend it if the weather holds out. It rarely rains the whole day in July.

My H's old industry did events up there every summer and we'd stay a day or two extra. Cute little downtown area to wander around. We had a great time having a picnic down on the water. I did do a boat tour one summer and it was pretty and they pointed out some historical houses and houses of interest.
I was also going to suggest the spa at the Abbey. If it is just cloudy or light rain, you can do part of the trail around the lake. I've never done it, but I think the mail boat tour looks fun.
