I was supposed to run 11 this morning, but I'm having some hop pain, I think from lifting weights earlier this week. So I called it off after half a mile, I'll go to yoga tomorrow, and try again Monday while DS is at preschool. A definite bummer, but I know better than to run through pain.
Feeling lazy .. this is day 7 of my exercise every day in September plan and I’m tired lol. Two of the days were just 30 minutes yoga video so it hasn’t been super intense but I suppose it’s stilp more than I’m used to
Anyway I’m about to head out for a quick mountain bike ride. This will be my first since my fall two weeks ago (I’ve been road riding instead) and I feel nervous and scared but I’m just going to take it easy and walk anything that scares me even a little for today
Bike ride cut short .. my back brake has been not great for a while but it’s finally bad enough that I can’t deal with it.. after a mile in the woods I gave up. I rode into town to the bike shop instead of driving though and now I’ll walk home (1.5 miles)
The brakes need a full bleed and it probably won’t be done today as they are busy, wah

I'm out of the boot (with no actual improvement, just tired of wearing the stupid boot) and had plans to go to the pool this morning, but unfortunately there's a water polo tournament and masters got cancelled. I'll try again on Monday morning.
Otherwise, just working all day. In the office until noon and then an open house. Please GOD let that open house be worth the foot pain I'm going to have from standing for 3 hours.

I ran 4.5 this morning. This is the first day in what feels like forever, but really is more like 2 weeks, that I don’t have a migraine. I suppose i should have run farther, but I was feeling like I was a stopping point so I stopped. I’m not currently training for anything, so it doesn’t really matter how far I go. I also was paranoid that if I kept going, I’d bring the migraine back, and that’s the absolute last thing I want!
The rest of the day is going to be spent watching college football. I’m so excited for college football season to be here!
I was going to do 10 this morning but the fever that hit me out of nowhere last night had other plans. Which worked out because we're in between tropical storms here so it's been raining alllll day. I would have bailed on this morning's run as soon as I saw the radar...light rain is ok but it was raining pretty hard this morning.

Just got back from running five. I have a free use-it-or-lose hot yoga class that expires on Wednesday — and I could really use a good stretch — but I think I may save for tomorrow or during the week. Cleaning and errands the rest of the day.
I did a road ride this morning. I also ate my way through Costco (mmmmm....food samples!) and was surprised by not having a line at the self checkout. A quick trip to the home improvement warehouse and I'm ready for a nap!
Then tried even Mooooooore bikes. We have a LOT of bike shops around here. I think we've tried basically everything anybody makes that might work for us. We've narrowed it to three, just need the one to come into the shop in our sizes to ride it and figure our shit out.

Yeah, the one that's $800 over budget. Which.. the budget was arbitrary. We can afford more, it just was more than I wanted to spend. By a lot. The one we ordered hasn't arrived yet so we still have that one to try. Should be here tomorrow.
I also really liked one of the bikes I rode yesterday. (Jamis renegade) And I liked the shop, so that's a plus. But I liked the expensive one better. I need to ride them in succession to compare better though.
