If you like TV, I love Extra Hot Great. I also like their other podcast - Again with This: Beverly Hills, 90210. It is a recap/convo of every single episode of the original show.
I’m now addicted to this 90210 podcast.
PopTV plays like 3-4 episodes on Friday. I try to watch one or two then listen to the podcasts when I run on the weekend. However, I liked it so much, I started from the beginning without watching the episodes. So hilarious. I loved this show and now I question why.
List of my podcasts (excluding Dirty John and Dr Death):
Atlanta Monster Decoding Westworld Fresh Air Lavar Burton Reads Lovett or Leave It On OC (local news) Pod Save America Pod Save the People Pod Save the World Radiolab Reid this Reid that S-Town Serial TEDRadio Hour There Goes the Neighborhood This American Life Today, Explained Up and Vanished
Where Should We Begin? The Dream . I just started it but I’m obsessed.
For lighthearted and hilarious, l love Mortified (people read their old diaries in from of an audience) and My Dad Wrote a Porno (a man and his friends read chapters of the erotic fiction novels his father wrote and self published, nsfw obviously but I am often gasping from giggling so hard.)
The first season might be the funniest thing I've ever heard. I was glad H was driving, because I really don't think I could've kept our car on the road.
The Moth has a collection of true stories told by the real person. Some make you cry, some anger you (for their injustice), some make you laugh, some inspire you all stories from every nationality and walk of life. It is one of the best "podcasts" I have found.
-Why won't you date me w/ Nicole Byer (not safe for work/kids, lol) Nicole brings on guests and talks about dating and life, they look at her tinder profile and give suggestions, and she asks why they would/wouldn't date her. I love her body positivity. She is hilarious. And she can get surprisingly vulnerable.
I listened to this for the first time today and laughed my ass off. It's the perfect lighthearted complement to all the heavy pods I listen to.

I really like Levar Burton Reads and Malcolm Gladwell’s Revisionist History. I listen to a lot of NPR-related podcasts, but these two are a good change of pace.
I didn't see Cover-Up mentioned. It's about Ted Kennedy and the story of Chappaquiddick. I thought it was pretty good. I also just started Sleuth. It's about a real life community theater actor who killed two people, one of which he killed and dismembered in the attic of the theater. I'm about 5 or 6 episodes in, and while I find it interesting (it happened fairly local to where I grew up) it's a little repetitive. Caliphate was another podcast worth listening to. Bitch Sesh will always be my ride or die. Absolutely love Casey Wilson and Danielle Schneider. I think all of the other podcasts I listen to have already been mentioned.
