and I've never heard of Credo, lol. MetroPCS is a contract-free prepay phone service and it's only like $50-60/month, incl unlimited data (you have to pull full price for the phone.)

Credo is cell service for lefty hippies. They donate money to causes that the people who contract with them vote on.
They're an offshoot of Working Assets long distance, which I had years ago. The cool thing about them: every Monday it was free to call your Congress-person in DC.
On the phone front, they're intriguing because they'll buy out your contract (up to $350 per line, up to three lines) with your current carrier.
