A dad and his teenage son, who are season tickets holders to the Capitals, won a 50/50 raffle during Wednesday night’s game. When they found out that the Capitals were donating their half (nearly $19k) to the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, they decided to waive their claim to their half so it could also go to the charity. They knew right away it was the right thing to do.
