Up until this last pregnancy I drank a small glass every day. However, my heartburn started becoming too much with it. I've started drinking it occasionally since giving birth, but not every day because of trying to lose weight.

I'll buy it occasionally if I have a bad cold, but 9/10 times at least half the bottle gets poured down the drain 3 months later when we reaize it's still in the fridge. I'd rather have wine so I don't really se a reason to drink it. LOL
The boys are just now starting to get into drinking it for bfast instead of milk. I love OJ with a big breakfast of eggs and bacon. The sweetness is a nice contrast.

The only time we buy it is when we have family over for breakfast on Christmas morning. But yes we both grew up with it as a staple in the fridge. I do enjoy it when I drink it but just don’t that often.
I am so glad that 53% of you don't keep your orange juice stored in the pantry or something.
To answer the actual question, yes we always have it on hand because it's the only way DS 2 will agree to take his ADHD medication in the morning. It was easier when he was on Adderall because it was a gel capsule and we could pull the two sides of the pill apart and sprinkle the medication on some applesauce. Now that he's on Concerta it's a regular tablet that he has to swallow whole. The juice helps so much.
No, I've never liked it. H loves it but he doesn't want the sugar.
The only time I ever liked juice was when I was pregnant. It was so weird but I had really intense cravings for grapefruit juice and cranberry juice. I have memories of standing at the fridge and just chugging it, lol. I would probably still have grapefruit juice but apparently it's not good with my medication so I need to avoid it.
I have to say, when I opened this thread I thought it was going to be a debate on whether OJ should be kept in the fridge or on the counter and I was gonna be like what sick freaks like room temp OJ.
but I digress. I keep in in the house not infrequently but not on the reg either.
SS--I don't drink juice, so if it were up to me, we wouldn't have juice in our fridge, but DH always keeps orange juice in the fridge. If he doesn't think to put it on the shopping list though, it doesn't get bought.
No, but only because my willpower is terrible and I would drink way too much of it. I love both orange and grapefruit juices, but only buy them a couple times a year. Grapefruit juice cocktails are my favorite, and I love giant weekend breakfasts with juice and coffee.
Rarely. I actually do at the moment but only because I’m making a recipe this week that calls for a full cup of it. We’ll drink the remainder. This probably happens twice a year.
I originally took this to mean whether or not you store you OJ in the fridge vs the cupboard or something and I was like, don't you have to store it in the fridge?
Same!
What I want to know is if Five Alive is still a thing.
We typically only buy it when someone's sick or if I have a coupon for a free carton. I mean, at $5 for 2L it's not exactly affordable anymore. I remember in university I'd buy 2L of juice for $1 on sale... that was only 10yrs ago. So I just don't buy it because water is free and tell myself we don't need all that fruit juice sugar anyway.
Never for ourselves. I don't like the acidity of OJ, and all juices are too many empty calories. I buy juice when we have house guests who like it, and that's it.
