I almost forgot in my list of many things going on lately, DS is having surgery next Friday to have his adenoids removed. They are leaving tonsils since they perfectly fine. His nose is full of dried mucus so it's causing horrendous nose bleeds that take up to 3 mins to stop and even come out of his mouth when I pinch his nose off. He is also having his urology test redone in Nov, this time on the medicine to see if it is even working.
Because of all this I've decided not to put them through the feeding therapy. It's just too much on him and I think over time his eating habits will get better and it isn't like he is failing to thrive just eats crap.

Good luck to him! The docs I work for take out just the adenoids quite often in young children. Very quick recovery, nothing like the tonsils thankfully.

He should feel so much better with these removed. I had mine out at 16 and realized I could finally breath through my nose. He might eat better after because things should taste different without all the infection running through his sinuses.

I have been told that it should help with his eating. He's had horrible allergies since birth and right about the time we switched him to table food is when his allergies got worse where it was coming out of his tear ducts.
Poor guy is on 2 different oral allergy meds and a nasal spray.
