I've decided not to screw myself over this year and end up frantically wrapping a ton of presents on xmas eve. I just wrapped a couple and put them under tree and it feels so weird to have them there so early. But that got me wondering if maybe I'm just a really, really bad procrastinator and most people get stuff out well before I do. What say you?
I wrap early, but only presents from me/family/friends go under the tree pre-xmas. It's usually not much. I don't pull out the Santa gifts til Xmas Eve after DD's in bed, though I do wrap them early, usually.
I do wrap in advance but hide all the kids gifts. I do place other peoples gifts out (nieces/nephews, sibs/parents and kids gifts to each other). However, I usually do not get that done until the weekend before Christmas.

Gifts to and from family members get wrapped and put under the tree when I get around to it. Santa gifts/stockings show up on Christmas Eve after bedtime (or very early Christmas morning, whenever people are actually asleep)
I usually put them under the tree as I wrap them, but that's often not until a few days before they are opened. There is nothing under the tree now.
Come to think of it, I probably won't be wrapping any presents at home this year anyway! I have things for my family shipped directly to my parents' house and will wrap them there once we get down there for the holiday.
I wrap things in advance but nothing goes under the tree until after the kids are in bed Christmas Eve.
This. I wrapped a bunch yesterday and even put post-it notes on top so I could remember what's in the packages (to the extent I need to know....but it's nice to have that option).
We have a real and a fake tree - the box for the fake tree makes an excellent place to hide gifts.
I wrap the ones that are not from Santa early, but keep them in my closet because our cats are assholes and will sit on them and/or chew on them. H & I wrap all the Santa presents Christmas Eve once the kids are in bed while watching Christmas vacation.
I usually take a day off mid-December to buy stocking stuffers and wrap gifts. In the past only put presents for extended family go under the tree in advance (our family's gifts are placed by santa). This year we have an untrustworthy dog, so nothing will go under the tree till Christmas, and even then, I think we will have to crate him the night of christmas eve to prevent any potential chewing disaster overnight.
We wrap early but i usually only put about half I see the tree, plus any gifts sent from out of town family. The rest I put out Christmas Eve to make it more impressive
Santa only brings 1-2 gifts -he brings the nost coveted items. Those are unwrapped and set up/assembled.

I wrap early. Pre-kids we used to put everything under the tree as it was wrapped, but between a toddler, two other kids, and a large dog, we can't do that now.
The toddler would rip into everyone's presents, and with where our tree is in the living room, there is no way to keep gifts under the tree out of the way totally, so the kids and dog would be tripping over them, accidentally kicking them, etc.
I don’t have kids so no Santa. My presents are usually wrapped and under the tree well ahead of time. I am not putting them out early this year because my senior dog suddenly decided he likes chewing things.
I'm a last minute person usually. I do have some stuff bought though and I have Friday and Monday off of work kid free so I think I'll do some wrapping at that time. That will be super early for me. I'm excited.

I have stuff wrapped and under the tree now and have for days. I thought that's how everybody did it? When I was a kid we had almost a ritual of shaking packages, trying to wrangle hints out of the giver, and comparing notes with rack other. The gifts under the tree ahead of time is legit my favorite part of the whole thing. NO HINTS!
I usually don't put anything under the tree, even if by some miracle I have them wrapped in advance. The cat is an asshole and will play with any ribbons/bows and would probably rip at the paper.
I tell myself I'm going to wrap as I buy and get stuff done early, but I'm always up till like 2am the night before Christmas Eve, frantically wrapping all the gifts.
We wrap all presents not from Santa as we acquire them. Santa gifts arrive unwrapped Christmas Eve. I’m sure wrapped vs unwrapped Santa gifts is a whole other debate

I wrap when I can before the holiday and put gifts under the tree. Santa presents are unwrapped by the fireplace (maybe a bow, or a gift sack if it fits) and stockings are filled after they go to bed.
Growing up my sister would shake all of her presents or try and strategically peel wrapping paper back to peek lol. So my parents wouldn’t put anything under the tree until like Dec 23, and even at that it was just whatever presents our extended family would send lol. The rest of the stuff would go out after we went to bed on Christmas Eve. She still tries to peek and she’s 36 lol.
We put a baby gate around the tree so the twins can’t touch it, so technically I could put stuff under there now...but I’m so used to having nothing under the tree until right before. It feels way too early! I am almost done shopping but all of the stuff we have so far is sitting in our spare bedroom for now. We’ll wrap presents after I’m done work for the year on Dec 20.
I wrap as I go. Not every gift for DD is from Santa so she already has a few things under the tree. I like the way the tree looks with presents all pretty under it so I get them out as soon as I can!
