I just kind of estimated since I haven't been keeping track:
DS: $500-$600 not really sure, but just estimating the more pricey things in my head this is what I got DS's GF: $100 (approx, still haven't gotten her a main gift yet and not sure what to get) Dogs (my dog and parent's dog): $50 Cousins' kids (6 kids): $90 (I get each of them a $15 B&N gift card) My parents: $50 total my expense (my brother also contributes $50 total to both). I usually throw in a few other little things plus a lotto scratch-off for my dad, so it's actually more than $50 Dog Daycare: $35 (we get them a card and gift card to a pizza place)
I don't exchange gifts with my BF or my brother and my BF just buys his sister a gift card.
$300 maybe? Our parents want cheap things like food and tea. We don’t exchange with siblings. We both got subscription boxes for each other and I got him a few other things before he decided on getting a box. $20 on new ornaments.

I spend about $300 in gifts and maybe another couple hundred, so $500 total, on extra food to host my family, nutcracker tickets, and Santa photo type stuff.
Per YNAB, $1,313 so far. I have a spreadsheet going and it looks like I have another $70 to spend, plus alcohol and food. I'm guessing we'll be at about $1,700 all in.
I initially planned on spending $1,000, but I ended up spending big money on my mom and MIL (got them both prints from a book illustration) and enrolled DS2 in a soccer program that was $200, which is quite a bit more than I would normally spend on the kids since everyone else gets them so much. But the program runs through March, so it's fairly inexpensive considering.
DH didn't have a job last Christmas and it was generally a very stressful time. We got a few stocking stuffers for everyone, but that was about it. I probably kind of overcompensated, but it feels really good to be able to give our moms a nice Christmas. They've done so much for us.
I think I'm much more likely to keep it under $1k next Christmas.
Seriously, I'm a numbers geek and keep a spreadsheet LOL
Me too! Mine also serves as a to do list and a reminder of what I've already gotten people in past years. I even have columns for "need to buy - ordered - received" so I know exactly where I am with each gift. It's an organizational lifesaver and I love it.
Anyway, our annual total is usually around $2k. It's so much, I know. But that's how it is. DH and I vowed to spend less on each other this year, but I know him and I know myself, so I'm keeping the budget the same for this year, lol.
December is just brutal financially between Xmas, family birthdays (me, Lucy, my favorite aunt, my mom, another aunt and uncle we see all the time...) and a four night trip we take with friendly over New Years.
H and I just do stockings for each other but even so I am guessing we've already blown past our $1,000 gift budget and I still have a bunch of stuff I need to get.

My spreadsheet used to include $ but that made me sad so I just deleted that column lol. Now it just has wish lists, gifts purchased and received.
I think we're around $1,500 without H's gift to me and will probably end up around $2K all told. We buy for each other, DS, five nieces/nephews/BFF child, two sets of parents, my B/SIL, two sets of godparents, teachers, direct reports/work friends and angel tree. I got a little out of hand with DS spending this year but a lot of it is books and/or science/learning stuff.

I’m probably at around $2k. I still have a gift I need to get for my nephew (he hasn’t given me any ideas) and we are hosting them for five days so lots of food and activities when they’re here.

I give small gifts to my immediate family members usually - wine or similar things for the adults, requested gifts for the kids. I think we're coming in under $400 which is about where I want to be, though I'm not including paying a bit more for a summer house in 2019 at the beach and not asking my mother and step-dad to pay anything other than some food cash (that's their present).
I think around 600? I had spent 350 a few weeks ago and I feel like I have probably spent another 300 since then. Oh wait -900. H ordered the boys main present months ago and that was around 300.
I think I probably have another 500 to spend to account for everyone.

Both DDs: $500 DH: $100 Niece and nephew: $130 Brother (secret Santa): $50 Mom: $50 Dad and Stepmom: $100 SIL: $50 BIL: $50
So that comes to $1030...but I didn’t include the shuttterfly order for grandparent calendars and prints (I think that was $50), DD’s teacher (will be $25), hosting on Xmas Eve, pictures I’ll order for my grandma, and - what always does me in - stockings for both girls, DH and my mom. I go overboard on those.
I haven’t even bought for my family yet and I feel spread thin.
$150 on my adopted family $35ish on DS daycare teachers $200 on my assistant/staff at work $50 on DH’s staff $25 on toys for tots at DH’s work $75 on cards
I still have to do my parents, 4 nieces/nephews, DH, DS, brother, sister, BIL, SIL. We will probably end up somewhere around $1250-$1500. I’m trying to keep the gifts for everyone pretty small this year.
When people start mentioning gifts for FedEx, doormen, doggie daycare, etc, I seriously feel like I’m gonna lose it.
We budgeted $780 for gifts and will come in around $750. This is for each of us, my parents, his mom, my bro/sil, and 5 nieces/nephews.
We'll spend about $200 on gas, food/drinks, angel tree / food donations, and random fun stuff. Oh, and we also go out for a nice dinner on Christmas Eve, so that'll be $150-200.
Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks. Staying at hotels in the parks. She’s SO excited, this is a bucket list type trip for her.
I live in Wyoming and have spent a fair amount of time in both parks. I actually got married at Schwabacher Landing in Grand Teton. Let me know if you need recs! I always love to help people experience one of my favorite places.
I would estimate all in maybe 4K? Kid gifts, Santa gifts, secretary gifts, teacher gifts, daycare gifts, Work secret santa, my gift to Dh , dh gift to me. Then family. Then food/hosting. Yikes.
Two kids and each other $1,000 ($250 each) Parents: $300 Daycare providers (3) and teachers (5): $225 Siblings: $150 Niece and nephews: $90 Direct reports: $75 Angel tree: $40 Secret santa: $25
Oh lord, that's $1,800+ just for gifts. No wonder we feel so strapped right now. I feel queasy seeing it all together.
[sticks head in sand]. I could add it up, it gets tricky bc I buy so many other things around Black Friday (eg blinds). I typically wear sackcloth and eat beans in January and February.

25ish nieces and nephews Secretary and associate Receptionists Daycare and aftercare teachers and staff Parents/brother Kids and husband (not much) 2 secret Santa gift exchanges A few angel tree gifts from OTF charity drive Christmas cards = a lot.
Thankfully I have an auto deposit every month into a capital one 360 savings account that will cover a nice chunk of it!
Too much but we only shop for DD, DH, my mom, MIL, and my niece. That helps a lot!!! After you add in teacher gifts and food for hosting and Christmas decorations though it definitely adds up.
I’m not going to actually add it though and you can’t make me.

Finally...my favorite is when the Christmas ballers come out in these threads.
I had no idea hosting was to be included in this too. Booze alone...would kill a lot of Christmas budgets.
I'm not even sure, but my guess is around 2000. That's for 3 grown children, dad, 3 nieces, 1 friend, and a few small things for H. We decided not to buy this year for each other and put the money in our vacation fund. I usually do not spend this much, but I bought my son a new mattress and that brought it up a lot.
