A school mom friend is a pediatrician and does shifts at our children’s urgent care. She said she sees someone from our trampoline park nearly every shift. She told me this as we warily watched our kids at the trampoline place, when I mentioned our neighbor’s daughter had a bad knee injury a few days prior. I never loved going there from a crowd and germs perspective (the little kids area is blech...) We skip it now and thankfully the bday parties there have subsided.
Judgmental comment on the website aside, I had a friend (former DA) on FB (who has way less details) post this and it’s making me think more about trying to not be judgmental, “I don’t know the circumstances of this guy, but odds are that the owner’s husband was a victim of a sex offense when he was young. It’s complicated. I’ve worked with plenty of sex offenders. I wouldn’t hire them to babysit or work in my home, but I’d support most of them in their efforts to be successful in the community.”
And no, I don’t expect to see the H at the facility - I’m guessing he doesn’t want to go back to jail and his offenses were not kid related.
Unfortunately this is true. I was at the PDs office long enough to watch the victim's of my case become the defenders and it sucks.
If he is not there, finished his sentence and is compliant with all Megan Laws I personally don't have an issue and would take my kids but I understand why others wouldn't feel comfortable.
I honestly don't know what I would do. I guess I would have to wait and see if there is an issue like this in an area where I live. The only issue I have heard around here is about private coaches, so I am kind of wary of that whole thing.
