I feel like I keep seeing the same style chair with a rocker at the bottom on Target's website (or maybe Wayfair?). Like this, but in the style you posted.
I will say, though, that I have an armchair with the same type of bottom (but wooden) and it kind of sucks as a rocker. It's comfy, but a glider would have been better for what I pictured. I just hated all the gliders.

With my other kids we had a guest room so no need for a bed in the nursery so we had a lazy boy and it was perfect! Unfortunately we need a bed in this nursery since this house has no guest room 😔 I guess we don’t technically need to put a bed in there but it will be nice for whichever parent is “on” that night.
We just got this one in beige and love it. It's a great color, and very comfy. It's out of stock again now but should be back in stock again at the end of the month.
I like the bed option you just posted, I think it will go well in the room with that scheme. I also love that look - it's one I had pinned awhile ago. We are going with it in our home office/spare bedroom instead. I ordered some prints off etsy that are a bit more tropical and all green, let me know if you want the links.

I hear you. I just can't even rock in mine, so I wanted to warn you just in case that would be a concern. In the end, my son wasn't a rocking baby anyway, so I guess it worked out, lol.

I’m a little hesitant to even get the chair because WHAT IF the baby doesn’t like being rocked. Who knows, we may not even have room for the chair once we lay out the bed, crib and changing table.

Thanks! I love dark floors and white walls with pops of color, it’s so calming to me.

It's insane how something so small can have so many BIG OPINIONS, right? I love your ideas, though, and hope the layout works!
I need help deciding how I’m going to rearrange my upstairs bedrooms if anyone feels like that.
I’d love to!
I have a 4 bedroom house. One of the bedrooms is basically the size of a large closet. It could MAYBE fit a crib, a small dresser, and possibly the glider. Maybe. The other 3 bedrooms are the master (largest), DD’s room, and the guest room. The guest room is bigger than DD’s room.
The difficulty is my house doesn’t have a basement or attic storage. In theory I could convert the attic into a storage attic, but it would take some work.
Right now the tiny room is used for storage and the guest room is also half storage. A lot of the storage stuff is the large baby furniture I’m going to need eventually, but not right now.
My options are A) move DD (almost 3) to the guest room. Keep DD’s room as the nursery. Put all the baby furniture in the nursery. This would require some cleaning up (fixing the wall, replacing the ceiling fan) and figuring out what to do with the guest bed (probably get rid of it). This causes problems with the fact that we live far away from family, and most of them can’t afford to get a hotel when they visit. B) keep DD where she is. Move stuff out of the tiny bedroom into guest room making the tiny bedroom the new nursery and the guest room all the storage. Tiny bedroom would need to be cleaned and painted. C) Turn DD’s room into guest room and storage. Move DD into bigger guest room. Have the new baby go into tiny storage room, and then have the long term idea be that DD and new baby would share the larger bedroom when the baby grew out of the tiny bedroom.

Thoughts?
If you want to keep a guest room long term, I would keep your eldest where she is for now and put baby in the tiny room. Once baby is older put both girls in the big room, make the medium sized room the guest room and make babies room storage again.
I would put the dresser along the wall with the door entering the room, the crib between the windows, the chair in the corner by the big window with the side table next to it (are there closets against the left wall when you walk in). The swing could probably stay in the corner you're already thinking.

namasteak could you do the crib in between the 2 windows and then the bed to the right of it along the wall? Dresser across from the 2 window wall/crib or under the double window and then chair in the corner. That room has such beautiful light!

mskitkat How often do you have family stay with you and for how long each time? I'd probably move your DD to the larger room and get a full or queen size bed and have family stay in her room (if it's not too long, a night or two here and there in either your room or baby's room might be ok). Or I'd get a day bed like the Ikea hemnes to put in the baby's room as a place for people to sleep.

Not a bad idea but I don't think I want the crib right next to the bed. Unfortunately the wall across from the 2 window wall is a closet.
And I know, I love the light in this house. The white walls will definitely need frequent touch ups but gives such a nice light/open feeling.

People stay with us for a week at a time twice a year and long weekends maybe 4-5 times/year.
If only we hadn’t *just* bought DD’s new twin bed. This pregnancy was a surprise. Although I suppose we could return it and she could sleep on the queen bed.

I have this PBK Lilly quilt that is my "inspiration" for DD's nursery. The room is DS's old nursery and already has light aqua walls and we will re-use DS's aqua dresser, light green bookcase, and white crib. I've purchased a couple of crib sheets (mix of pink and aqua), white crib skirt with hot pink ribbon trim, pale pink solid curtains, and a flamingo print for the wall.
I need to buy a new glider (something on the slim side due to the size of the room) and I'm thinking a neutral, light tan (like a sandy color?). Or would a light gray look better? I also need a rug. I'm having a hard time because I feel like I'm buying too much pink!

A wall of closets is tough! We have similar obstacles in our house. What about the crib on the double window wall (would need great blackouts), the dresser between the 2 windows and bed to the right of double windows. The chair in either corner.
