Anyone have any fun ideas for a bridal shower game? I got asked to come up with something before Saturday as the bridesmaids (aka the bride's sisters) dropped the ball, so my friend (MOH) asked if I could help her out.
What games/activities don't suck or aren't totally over done?

We had one where I walked around the room carrying an umbrella with a bunch of money (coins and bills) hanging from it. After that I left the room and then everyone had to answer questions about what I was wearing, not about the money. A lot of people seemed to like that one.
I haven't been to a bridal shower in years..literally but bridal shower bingo was popular as well as a quiz about how well you know the bride and groom
guess the gifts bingo here too...we had to fill in the spaces with what we thought the gifts would be and i can't recall the other game....there were only 2.

Strip poker.
I HATE those stupid shower games! I don't give a shit if A makes the best toilet paper veil/dress. Why are adults playing with toilet paper anyway! Take my gift, give me some alcohol, and let's call it a day.

Ohhhh trust me, I do too! And there won't be any alcohol at this shingdig.....sigh

:-| :-( You poor thing. *sigh* you can play the "who knows the bride best" game where you ask questions about her (normally relationship themed) and whoever gets the most right, wins a small prize. You can also bring a flask. :drink: :drink:
I played one that was pretty fun. The host put various baking ingredients in plastic baggies (salt, sugar, cornstarch, flour, etc.) And we had to guess what they were. Harder than you'd think and something different.

Mad libs actually sounds really fun!
We did two cooking-related games--one where there were spices in little bowls, and people had to guess what they were by sight/smell (my sister picked really tough ones, like marjoram!). The other had a bunch of really unusual cooking utensils--one for peeling shrimp, a diffuser for burners, etc--and people had to guess what they were and what they were for.

Another one, but you may not have time for, is:
Pick 5 random pictures of the bride and groom from their childhood, school years, whatever. Glue one of the groom and one of the bride on a sheet of paper and number them 1-5. Pass them around and have the guests guess the age they were in the pics. The person/people with the most correct answers win.
