But I am in the hospital after a killer gallbladder attack. They weren't sure when I first came in if we'd end up operating right away, or what, so that was a little scary.
Baby girl is doing just fine and I'm nowhere near spontaneous labor, so as long as I can keep up with a diet and the attacks don't come back, she should be able to keep cooking.
36w1d with a scheduled c-section at 39w exactly. Plus, she's already somewhere near 6 pounds.
My OB is aiming to keep her in as planned and then have my gall bladder removed a month or so later.
So not great if baby comes but at a safe time. FX she bakes for 3 more weeks, you recover from your section quickly and they can do a laparoscopic gallbladder removal.
FWIW, DH and MIL have had success with maintaining their gallbladder health with diet.
