I was planning to send some things to our room for a one week stay. What do you usually get?
We have the dining plan but no early breakfasts, so I was planning to do a super quick & easy breakfast/snack in the room before heading out most days. Other than that, probably just need a few snacks. We'll have the refillable mugs.
Breakfast foods: blueberries, frozen waffles and pancakes, bananas, Jimmy Dean simply scrambles cups (if you have a microwave), gallon of milk, individual packs of cereal Snack stuff for the room or to take to parks: granola bars/protein bars, Babybels, applesauce pouches Random stuff: ponchos, napkins, plastic forks/spoons, Ziploc bags
Tons of bottled water. And Powerade Zero. Even with drinking water all day while in the parks, I was so dehydrated at the end of each day from the heat and walking. These helped.
AHHH! Good to know. I will add water to the list! Also maybe some Gatorade for the kids.
Definitely water and Gatorade. The tap water is awful and you really need to drink a lot to keep hydrated. ETA: the water from fountains in the parks is generally fine, it's the tap water that is bad.
We live here and frequently bring Gatorade to have on our way home. We used to be able to buy it at the parks, but now all they have available is powerade (blech).

I brought two of the Brita bottles that have the filter in the straw and it made the water better, if you don’t want the waste of individual bottles.

We travel with Brita water bottles that have a built-in filter. They're slightly pricy at ~$25 apiece on Amazon but WELL worth it for Disney to get one for each person in your group. Florida water is atrocious.
we just got back from our vacation (universal and disney), filled our water bottles with tap water the whole time, no issues.
In all our trips to disney, it never occurred to me to buy bottled water for the trip. Tap water has always been completely fine. We stay on property, maybe they have their own water system there? I honestly don't know, but we've never purchased bottled water unless we forgot our water bottles one day.

Yeah, I really dont understand it. Its not great tasting water, but I can't fathom spending that much cash or creating that much waste. I get used to it after a day or so.
