I had this done a couple of years ago. It was very similar to having an ablation (which I did a few months later). For me, it wasn’t very painful at all. The meds made me super sleepy, so when I got home I pretty much slept the whole rest of the day & was pretty much back to normal the next day, maybe just a little crampy? I don’t really remember too well, so it obviously wasn’t horrible!

That’s all good to hear. I’m scared about it. Did they send yours away to be biopsied?

I had it done about 10 years ago. It was honestly no big deal - no pain at all after, but I was a little groggy from the sedation for the afternoon. I was back to normal activities the next day or day after. I'm not sure about the biopsy.
I had it done sept of 2017. Twilight sedation. I remember waking up crying from pain but once I was fully awake and orienteded, all I needed was normal OTC pain pills for a day or two. No lifting heavy stuff for a few days or over exercising.

I’m not sure about the biopsy? But I’m horrible about asking questions...DH always laughs at me because I never think to ask doctors certain things.
And don’t be scared! It really was nbd at all. I actually just remembered that DH and I even stopped somewhere for lunch on the way home, I was really that fine!

I rested the remainder of the day after it was over, but felt fine the following day. It was biopsied as standard procedure. Mine was done in the surgical suite of my doctor’s office, but I do remember the anesthesia feeling like a real trip in that setting.

Me, last April! It wasn’t bad - I mostly slept the rest of the day and took it easy the next day just in case. I was sore, but nothing Advil couldn’t fix. I did have bleeding off and on for about a week but a kind nurse stocked me up with mesh panties so I was feeling like royalty.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
I think I posted this same thing a year ago! I had a polyp removed last March. I was super, super nervous but it was truly fine. I was put under for mine. Went to the surgery center with DH. They took us back together to a room with a super nice nurse. She placed the IV (first try, no problem; I was nervous b/c it took several tries for my last c-section). They took me back to surgery and I was out immediately. I mean, anesthesia is really pretty amazing. I woke up and was taken to recovery. DH was there and I was super cold so they brought me hot cocoa. Sat there about half and hour or so and then was released. I felt amazingly fine and I was so relieved. I stopped and left a note for my DD1 at her school (she is somewhat anxious and was super nervous for me but was in gym or something), then went home and had lunch. After that, I did feel a little tired and decided to nap, and was out for like 4 hours solid!!! I'm guessing still some anesthesia effects. I was fine afterwards. Some light spotting but really no pain that I recall.
My parents came to be there with my kids so DH could stay with me, and so I could rest that day. It was really great to have that day to rest. I would not plan on doing anything that day, but the next day you'd probably be fine.
My doctor automatically biopsies all. It was clear. Also, she gave me pictures--weird to see!

I had a handful of polyps removed when we were doing IVF. I don't remember it being overly painful. I was a little sore and took OTC meds, but the worst part for me was the sedation. I always feel groggy and gross after it. IIRC, I was allowed to take some Tylenol beforehand, but I'm not sure about that.

My experience was really similar (including the pics!). I worked from home the next day but totally could have gone to my office. I had some minor spotting for a few days but no pain.
I had to have a D&C about 6 months ago for abnormal bleeding. I was nauseaous and sleepy for the rest of the day afterward, but that was all due to the anesthesia. I had no pain at all. The doc gave me a prescription for opioids, but I didn't fill it. I took one round of over the counter meds just as a precaution because I had been cramping for 3 months and I was done with the pain. I had the procedure around noon in the hospital and took off work the following day. I could have went to work if I really had to, I just wanted to rest a little.
I had it done at the surgerical center at the hospital by my OB. I went under, it felt like it only took a few minutes. They offered me prescription pain killers, but I still had some extra strength ibuprofen at home. I can't remember if I stayed home the next day or not. Biopsy results came back quickly.
