We’re looking at Wyndham Bonnet Creek through VRBO. The 2BR for the dates we want to go (Halloween into first week of November to see Christmas decorations) are around $130-150/night. There are 2 baths, a living room and kitchen, 1200sf, so it is close in size to OKW 2BR villas for about 1/4 the price.

We did an VRBO in Davenport and it was fabulous. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, private pool. It was about 20-30 minute drive to Orlando, but the savings and having space to spread out (there were 6 adults and 2 kids) were totally worth it. We typically stay in my parent’s 2 bedroom condo and I will never go back!

I've stayed in two bedroom units at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and Sheraton Vistana Resort.
WBC is in the midst of Disney property and a lot of rooms have some kind of fireworks view. The resort is very compact and it is easy to walk around between the different pools. Parking is in surface lots (towers 1 - 4) or a garage (towers 5 & 6). There is no housekeeping during a week stay.
SVR is not far from the Disney parks and it is close to a lot of fast/casual/family-friendly dining options. The balcony was screened-in. The resort is large with several pool options. Units are in small buildings with two or three floors and parking is out front. A week stay included a mid-week cleaning.
We primarily went to the Disney parks and didn't participate in resort activities or dine in the resort restaurants, so I can't comment on those things. I was happy with both resorts and would not hesitate to return to either one. I have rented through Vacation Strategy and purchased off of eBay.
We rented a house through VRBO in Windsor Hills. It was exactly what we needed for 4 adults and 2 kids. We had our own pool and the resort pool was really nice for a day. It was only a 10 minute drive to the transportation center, which was great. We wound up staying in the parks all day because it was too much of a hassle to go back and forth, and we were so exhausted by the end of the day we didn’t wind up using the game room or living room much- we pretty much all collapsed at the end of the day. But I’d still recommend it!!
We stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek in December for 10 nights. 3 BR with insurance was less than $1700 for the whole time. We had lots of fun. I booked through Vacation Strategy. MB had king size bed and a HUGE bathroom that was really split into two sections - jacuzzi tub, sink, mirror and then toilet, shower, closet, sink, mirror
BD#2 had king size bed
BD#3 had 2 full size beds.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 shared a huge bathroom as well.
Laundry in the condo. Kids loved all the pools (I think there was four total - we only went to three). Restuarants on site, activities too. We didn't do any because we were tired or at the pool but there is other stuff to do.
We’ve done WBC, Sheraton Vistana Resort and Marriott Harbor Lake. I liked WBC the best but we had a presidential suite on the 18th floor is Building 6 which was a great spot, huge balcony, all updated. The restaurants weren’t anything great but we mostly ate at Disney. There was a Starbucks in the hotel building. Super convenient to Epcot and HS.
Sheraton was also nice and close, had a bunch of pools, the zero entry one was great with kids, also a Starbucks in the on-site market. Ate at the pool restaurant a couple times, just fine. Close to MK if I recall. I hear the Sheraton Vistana Villages is a little nicer but further out.
Marriott Harbor Lake was just a bit too far (closer to Seawold I think ) but good pool and splash areas for young kids. Room was smaller and outdated in comparison but it was about 6 years ago.
I would not recommend any of these without a car. We stayed on property last year for the first time though, and I think we’ll do that going forward. I hate parking at MK so much!
