A friend of mine told me recently that she likes him.
She is from a neighboring district of his, so she had actual reasons for liking him that had nothing to do with Pelosi. But it still made me die a little inside.

I see it's time for me to re-share the Slate profile of him everywhere.
He's basically a political robot, checking boxes along his way up the ladder. I think he completely miscalculated the Pelosi situation, and I would be VERY surprised if he isn't primaried as a result. Also, I have probably mentioned this before, but he's an alumnus of where I work and every time his stupid mug shows up on the media bumper, I want to punch the tv.

Hard fucking pass. I previously lived in a neighboring district and I’ve met and worked with him multiple times and he is such an entitled mansplainy d-bag. Even most women I know who share his political leanings (a bit more moderate for the D side) dislike him because his contempt for women is pretty obvious in person.
1. I have no idea who this is. I wouldn’t even know what state to narrow it down to. 2. I’m very glad of that since he sounds like the Democratic version of Marco Rubio.
No. Hard pass. He reps the district my sister used to live in (and wants to return to) and would be a smarmy asshole on the debate stage with the awesome women who are running. No.

I know a bunch of people in his district and they seem to like him. My rental property is in his district. But he should sit the fuck down after he played that shit earlier this year and stick to being a congressman in his district.
In other news, my current congressman is way better than Seth Moulton.
I live in his district, and I'm sure he will be primaried in the next election. Most people seem to realize he's using this as a stepping stone. It's fairly obvious he could care less about the district.
ESF I don’t think I’ve even reached stage 2 yet lol. I don’t remember the Pelosi stuff at all but thought it was some guy from Ohio.
Him and Tim Ryan. My heart dies a little more each time anyone I know (mostly former Republicans) say they could vote for Tim Ryan.
He's from MA and he did the Pelosi thing this year AND ... I guess it must have been 2016. I don't hate a lot of his positions but, Seth, sit down please and wait your turn. (Not really that last part but that is what a lot of rising women hear all the damn time, so, yeah. It's not your turn." Also I seem to have quoted the wrong reply.

I look forward to door knocking for his opponent.
I am actually torn between thinking he will see the writing on the wall and not run again in favor of some cushy job at Bain or something, and him being so arrogant he has NO IDEA what he’s in for. Our town is in bordered by his district, and I told my husband that if they redraw the district lines again and I lose Katherine Clark for him, we might need to move.

I think there’s no way he doesn’t run unless he gets a political appointment of some kind. He doesn’t have that sense of self awareness. The district is not an easy one but I think the right challenger could do well. And frankly after the other upsets of MA incumbents recently he should be really scared. If Capuano can lose, so can Moulton (or Ross or Sanchez.) I’m hoping DeLeo gets a real challenger too. Boys, byeeeee.

I lost Katherine Clark when we moved and I’m still bitter. I think he really expects to be president some day.
seeyalater52 I would love to see DeLeo go. He has way too much power. His staff is so hard to work with

Katherine is amazing. DeLeo is such a dick. He is a roadblock to like 90% of things that would improve the state, which is bad news given the governor we have (“we” loosely, as I now live next door, but MA is my home and where I work!) The state would be so much better off without him. And the district is 100% winnable with the right challenger. It’s been in the works for a while.
