I have a Longchamp Le Pliage and I’m actually not a huge fan of it because it has no pockets or dividers to keep things organized. I don’t want to have to buy additional pouches and things to keep the inside of my bag from being a mess.
Does anyone have the cotton poly blend Lo & Sons OG or OMG bag, or does everyone have a nylon gone? I like one of the cotton poly blend colors better, but don’t want to go with that if it won’t hold up as well to cleaning and use as the nylon ones.
I did not pay nearly that much and think I got it at TJMaxx.
I have this same bag and love it. However, I am incapable of using a bag without a crossbody strap so most of the other popular ones are a pass for me. I haven't used it for clothing, just as a laptop/school/work bag for commuting and trips.
Great travel bag. Lots of pockets. Lightweight, durable. Plenty of space. Fairly attractive. Can be crossbody. Has the spot in back that you can slip over the handles to your suitcase.
I had a leather bag for years, but leather can be really heavy. And I feel like I need to be more careful with leather. So I went with nylon.

I have the Kindred, which I mentioned earlier in this thread, and it has the luggage sleeve. It was advertised as being an extra pocket because you can just unzip the top zipper and leave the bottom zipper closed and put stuff inside ... but the bottom zipper always comes a little unzipped for me, so I don't use that as a pocket for fear of losing stuff.

I do -- the gray. The fabric has held up well (no holes, etc), and when it gets dirty I just clean it with a wet cloth and let air dry.
OG/OMG people -- has anyone else had an issue with the edges of their handles fraying? I have a couple of places where the leather/fake leather (not sure) has cracked (and some small pieces have fallen off), and I have white thread I have to keep cutting off. The handles are still intact it just looks a little less than professional.
I don't...I imagine they do around the holidays, but I looked for a promo code for a good two months before I just gave up and bought it.
tcu2003, I also have the gray and it's held up very well even after traveling with me and being stuck under the seat in front of me, etc. I haven't had to clean it but I am sure it would clean up rather well.
I have the gray OMG and the long strap broke off within two weeks.
They replaced the bag and I got the black nylon.
Sadly, once I load them up with my laptop and lunch, they’re really heavy and it has been bad for my back. I still think they’re fine for travel and occasional use.

I am eyeing the lo & sons backpack.
I had the same problem re: weight and commuting with my OMG. I recently switched to a Travelpro backpack for daily commuting, and it is SO much better for my back/shoulders.
But I still use my OMG for travel, because then I can slip it over the handle of my carryon, so the weight is not such an issue.

I feel like the Jenna Birdie is not getting enough love and it is the best bag I have ever owned so I need to proselytize some more.
Let’s refresh:
Available in several colors with camel accent options like the Le Pliage, but like the OG/OMG, it is also available in all black.
Lots of pockets, laptop sleeve, and good interior organization like the OG/OMG and Dagne Dover.
Holds an outfit and toiletries without being ginormous
Has a cross body strap
Fits under an airplane seat easily
Can double as a work bag if needed
Is very lightweight
Plus has cute interior lining and matching cosmetic case.
The only thing it is not is unisex.
It is the best bag. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Oh crap. I want this bag now. I used to have a Longchamp Les Planetes (like Le Pilage, but made out of a thicker fabric, and all black) that I loooovveed and used until it died. The all black version of this is like that but better because of pockets/lining/cosmetic case.
I ended up buying a solid color Lesportsac on consignment. It was there, it felt like fate. I’ll probably end up buying another bag later in the year that has the carryon sleeve and has a more polished vibe. I figure this one gets us through our next trip and then it can come on outdoor excursions.
