I am glad for him, but I do hope that someday he writes a book about all of this and his lawyer's evidence or hope that the NFL would have their day in court (when/if they do it again to another talent) to have to defend away their mishandling of player protest and the fact that they are a company that discriminates against people too often.
My mom has moved away from the Republican party and assured me that she will not vote for any Republicans in the next election. However, she still has a lot of doubts about Kaep and the discrimination he has faced. I just sent this to her and said, "still think Kaepernick is just an unemployable player?" I hope this changes her tune. I am so irritated with her willingness to believe that he is just that mediocre that nobody would sign him. So goddamn ridiculous.

I get the argument of this article, but I’d generally caution against declaring a settlement with confidential terms a win for either party, from a legal standpoint.

I'm here. We don't know the terms of the settlement. There are obviously things the NFL doesn't want heard/known, particularly about collusion to keep him off the field and uncontracted. Even some (a couple? A few? Not sure but Twitter says so, lol.) of his friends/supporters are disappointed with him settling rather than going all out and letting certain information go public.
But yay for Kaep for being able to force the NFL to a settlement. I hope it's tens of millions and it all goes to support his causes (which he's been doing already anyways.)
