Lol, we suck this time around, but DD's room is almost done.
We did the same book "shelves" in DS's room, so we wanted a match. We have yet to figure out where to hang this swan bust.
We have similar state prints in DS's room of our home states. We're having a weird cloudy day, so sorry it's so dark.
We laugh that she might end up afraid of this dramatic swan head, lol.
These photograph like shit but are the sweetest little pink and white pom-pom curtains.
This is the mobile we ordered for over her crib. DS's sweet fox mobile is one of my favorite things ever, so I wanted her to have one that was equally sentimental.
Bonus of DS's big(ger) boy area in his room now that the rocker is out.
C has a stuffed elk head above his crib, and so far he hasn't developed any fears. The swan is super cute!
I'm glad! I wanted a fox one for DS's room, but it never materialized, so I pounced on this. After we put it up, we were like, uhhhhh, hope it's not scary.
I love the swan mobile! I've been trying to find a cute swan sleeper to bring DD home in, but haven't had much luck.
It must be the new trend because I've seen a ton of little outfits and bathing suits, but I don't think any sleepers. Check Carter's and Target, though, because that's where I found a bunch of cute swan outfits.
Beautiful! We plan to just plop this kid into DS's nursery exactly as it is. Oops. Sorry, Kid #2.
We’re moving to a new house at 28 weeks and I’m going to decorate a new room for DD with all new furniture. The new baby will be team green again so I will just move the white nursery furniture into a plain grey room and then decorate once the kid shows up. I figure the last trimester is going to be rough enough as is between moving and unpacking and getting DD started at school.

If we didn't go so BOY last time, I would have used the same room, trust me. But DS is still in his crib, so we needed new furniture anyway and it spiraled, lol.
However, SOME PEOPLE (H) have realized that when I say we need to start the room, we need to start it then and not at the freaking end.
My grandpa's cousin made us a mobile for DD, and they suggested in their letter that we could turn some of the pieces into Christmas ornaments afterward if we wanted to. I thought that was a great idea. They have written and offered to make one for this baby, too, which is so nice of them.
Especially since I think DS is going to be in a toddler bed before this kid arrives. He started swinging his leg over the crib rail this week
NOOOOOOOOOO! Stay put DS! If he's not in a sleep sack then get him one stat. I think that's what keeps DS put.
DS is still doing well in his crib, but at almost 3 years apart I cannot justify a new crib. We have bunk beds in another room so DS will move to those when I build up the courage (i'm thinking June and I'm due in August). I'm scared!
It does feel weird to be redoing a room for DS1 and nothing for DS2. Poor second kid. LOL

Where are you finding sleep sacks that fit? We've only used the Carter's armless ones for DS and once he was too big, he slept just in jammies (his room is crazy warm and we use a fan in there even in winter.
A few of my friends told me to just convert his crib now, but it seems pointless if he's comfortable and not climbing yet. I'd rather sleep sacks him and get a few more weeks? Months? before changing it up.

Halo sells them through size XL which they say is for 18-24 months but DS still fits with plenty of space at 28 months. I like fleece for winter.
Aden and Anais sells XL Muslin ones which I like for summer.
I think most stores don’t keep XL in stock so you’d need to order online.
