Not Trump Trump but in case we've forgotten...Trump hasn't. He's grumbling about aid to Puerto Rico, which needs to be approved by block grants rather than automatically getting funded like it would if it was a state. They've cut food stamps and missed the last deadline for funding, etc. And he's threatening to cut the amount because we need it here on the mainland, for billionaire tax cuts, military and a wall, I suspect.
They've cut food stamps to Puerto Rico. PR is still in crisis after Hurricane Maria, and food stamps are vital to the majority to live there, as well as many businesses and relief societies.
The “Make Families Great Again” conference, which was held at the Library of Congress on March 14, promoted far-right Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s seven-point “Family Protection Action Plan.” The plan is “designed to promote marriage and families and spawn a baby boom” through financial incentives, according to a Washington Post report on the event.
According to a Christian Post report, Orbán’s plan is designed to boost the country’s birth rate to “replacement level,” the fertility rate at which a population sustains itself, without taking a more open approach to immigration policy.
