What’re your kiddos wearing for Easter this year?
Extra points if your kid is a toddler boy. I used to love the Carter’s dress me up outfits (suspenders or bow ties lol) for DS but the cute ones stop at 24 months. The stuff for toddlers is......ehhhh. He’s in 2T now. My kid wears 99% hand me downs so I like to have something special for holidays. Don’t judge me!
Pink seersucker dress for my 1 y/o, and a coordinating plaid top for my 4 y/o along with nice white shorts. If I can find a cheap navy bow tie, I may grab it to go with his navy boat shoes. Everything is from the Hope & Henry line. They had better dresses, but not a lot in my daughter’s size and I couldn’t wait. We had Easter pics scheduled for this past weekend.
Carters was no good this year, especially for my son. Same with Gap.
My kids are wearing the same dress and shirt at vtdiamond - needs pants for DS and shoes for both of them.
I ordered the rose gold bunny shoes from gap for DD. They only go up to an 11 in toddler sizes though. And I’m going to order some new boat shoes for DS.
Easter isn't a big deal in our house yet. So probably just a plaid button down and jeans, if I feel so inclined.
yeah, the only reason we would do something is if my in laws ask us to. I was not raised religiously and we only did easter egg hunts because my (Jewish) mother loved the novelty of it. She already cannot wait to do them for my son when he is old enough.

But there was never any dressing up or anything.
I don't really do holiday dress up, but my (Catholic) family is all about the fancy Easter garb so there is some pressure. I'll probably dig out a button down and non-sweatpants pants from one of the hand me down bins and deal with the pursed lips of my mother all day that its not fancier.
I put DS in a button down for my nephew's confirmation over the weekend and the whole church service he thought it was a coat and kept saying "coat off?" while pulling at the buttons. We're not fancy lol.
DD2 is wearing whatever hand-me-down dress I can find that will fit her.
DD1 is very picky so I'm not getting anything new. She has 2 or 3 casual dresses that would be fine. We don't do church or anything fancy, just the ILs for dinner so she may even end up in leggings and that will be fine too.
I made this last year and it still fits since I lengthened the shorts, so dd is wearing this. We don’t go to church so I like something cute and a little nice for lunch with family and egg hunts but also want it to be easy to play in.
I don't even know if we're doing anything on Easter. My mom invited us over for the day before to hunt eggs with my siblings. I have no desire to go to church for Easter, my mom never really does special holiday meals, my brother will be with his ILs, and IDK if my sister will be working or at her BF's or whatever on Easter Sunday.

I love the story about your mom because my Jewish dad absolutely loves dressing up as Santa and decorating for Christmas! Lol

The weather is SO unpredictable here that I feel like I can't decide yet.
I have one option for dd that would work if it's chilly because it's a dress with a matching jacket, and ds has a coordinating sweater. I *think* ds has a light button down that would work too. But if it's HOT (seriously, it could be 30 degrees or 70 degrees or anywhere in between), then I need to rethink.

He’s old enough now!(at least I think he is). DD was 16-17 months last year and loved egg hunts. I used to hide eggs in the living room for her to find all month since it kept her entertained.
