For our master bath renovation...I'm thinking this tile:
Shower wall (but laid brick pattern):
Here's a pic from a bit of a distance:
This floor tile -- it is darker grey than it photographs:

Close-up (more accurate for color):
For laundry/mudroom floor: This tile
but laid herringbone style...here's my attempt to lay it out on the floor at the store:
I'm hoping it'll look like this...this is real marble but in the same size laid herringbone:
Thoughts? I'm going for a very restful, mellow vibe, so I don't want a ton of color or pattern. The shower tile has V4 variation in color, though, which I like. The shower floor (and niche if we have one?) will probably be this:
I like it! My only concern would be having such a light mud room floor. Is there a reason you don’t want the wood look tile there too?
Mainly for variety. :-) The rest of the house will be wood floor, and I wanted something a little different. I don't like any darker tiles. I'm calling it a mudroom, but it's not actually the entry point for the house...it's a room kind of just off the entryway. So, we'll stash backpacks and coats in there probably, but muddy shoes will stay by the door. The front door is a little cut off in this pic but it's at the very bottom left. It will be the dog's main route in and out of the house through a doggie door, but I'm hoping a runner rug will help with that.
It's actually kind of textured, not glossy. I was wondering about that. Of course then I thought that maybe the texture might hold dirt more, but hopefully if it's porcelain it'll still mop clean easily. Maybe I'll buy one tile and experiment with it a bit.
