I'm 13.5 weeks (woohoo!), and had an ultrasound yesterday that went great. I was so nervous walking into the hospital for the ultrasound. I think my hands went numb. But now I'm thrilled and ready to start actually preparing for the future of this pregnancy and hopefully a baby. I almost feel like I could actually be a TTTC graduate. Yay!
I haven't made the switch to maternity clothes yet, but I can feel it's coming soon. I never needed summer wear before. Plus, we're going to Disney in September. I'll be nearly 7 months then and definitely in need of warm weather clothes. I have old Gap maternity jeans that were my go-tos, but I'm not sure how the shorts would work.
Can anyone recommend their summer maternity clothes, especially a swimsuit or two? Thank you!
For a swimsuit, I just bought a bigger size in a bikini top and then put a maternity rash guard over top.
For summer clothes, most of mine are from Motherhood. I was pregnant through the summer in a southern state with Z, so I'm basically just resuing my maternity stash from 4 years ago plus a few new pieces. I have a couple pieces from Old Navy and Target as well I think.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
I got a maternity tankini and swim bottom from Motherhood Maternity with my first pregnancy. I felt cute and covered up and it was comfortable. I don't like showing off the bare skin of my belly (my linea nigra was DARK, still is, womp womp) so just wearing a bikini made me self-conscious.
Most of my maternity shorts were hand me downs from a friend, but they're mostly Motherhood brands. If you can find them secondhand, that would be great since you'll wear them for such a short time. I also lived in loose maxi dresses during my first pregnancy (due in July in Texas, so HOT). Some were maternity, some were not, just bump friendly. They came from a variety of sources but mostly Old Navy and Target.

I was hugely pregnant in summer the first time (August baby) and newly pregnant the second time, so I just made do with a two piece. We really only swim at home, so I just DGAF.
I always loved Kohls for maternity clothes, but they definitely had way less of a selection when I was pregnant with DD, so I wonder if they're getting rid of it. Motherhood Maternity sales were always good for me, too. I got a million tshirts that I could wear with shorts or black pants and that basically covered me. Also tank dresses from Target, but they did away with Liz Lange and their new line looked awful.

I'll have to check out Kohl's. Thank you. I do feel like the selection is getting smaller and smaller. I went to the mall last week to check out some maternity stuff at the larger stores like Old Navy and H&M, and see what if other smaller stores might have something. The only places that had anything to try on were the massive anchor stores. I am so hit and miss with online shopping so I wanted to actually try it on. I was a little surprised how little options there were. Not really complaining, lol. Just a little, huh.

I totally get it. I just resigned myself to returning things because it was ridiculous.
