chocolatepie you can absolutely increase your output. Your body will naturally, since babies growth spurts (generally at 6, 9, and sometimes 12 weeks) are like doing a power pumping day or two and cause your supply to increase.
If you are still breastfeeding on demand I’m not certain those pump numbers are actually bad. I don’t think I would produce that much more than baby needs. I’ve never had a supply concern with either kid and if I pump between feeds I can usually only get an ounce and a half out at most. I kind of half to do it twice to get enough for a decent bottle.
I would make an appointment with an LC for a weighted feed. It will also get you an updated weight check on baby.
During every nursing session I drink a full 20oz tumbler of water. If I don’t, my supply tanks and I feel dehydrated. I’m drinking more than 4L of water a day but it definitely helps.
He woke up at 5 am, burning up. 104.9 per forehead thermometer (WOW), 103.1 per rectal. I gave him tylenol, fed him, put back to bed. Woke up at 7:30, temp 98.0, happy baby. Put him down for morning nap, he slept a long time. Woke up at noon, very happy baby, temp 100.7 rectal. Have not medicated since 0500.
2pm update, spiked up again to 102.7 rectal. Dammit. He was fine then 20 minutes later he wasn't.
pooh8402 are you able to monitor him at home or do you have to go in to the fr?
I'm monitoring at home. I brought him to pedi yesterday for sustained 103+ temps. Pedi told me to bring him in to our children's ER for a sustained rectal temp of 104+, lethargy, trouble breathing, inadequate output, not nursing, yadda yadda yadda. This afternoon marks 48 hours of fever, so it really hasn't been *that* long, but it's certainly distressing to me.
I'm as tired as the newborn days with D waking every two hours. Last night was a bit better, but then he woke up at 530 and refused to go back to sleep. Except in addition to being tired, I'm having to take on way more child care and household chores while H is STILL recovering from his vasectomy. On top of that, we've had some shitty life blows the last couple of months that would be really hard to deal with even in the best of circumstances.
The 6 month mark was supposed to be when things got better.

Curious, at what age did your LO have more of a structured 3 nap, then bed routine? Also, at almost 3 months, what time did your LO go to sleep for the night?
This brought to you by L falling asleep at 5pm tonight during a walk and not feeling like we can get him to bed much earlier than 9-9:30.

At 3 months 90minutes was our average awake window. Any more than 2 hours caused him to be over tired.

It's a blur. C was more in the 3-4m range, D more in the 4-5. At 6.5m we have a very clear schedule of naps at 9, 1215, 430ish (he strongly fights this) and asleep by 730.

At six months we seem to have a three nap schedule. Even a month ago she napped sometimes 4x. She was over a month early though. Our loose schedule is: 7am wake up Nap 8:45-9:30 Nap 11:45 to 1:45 Nap 4:30 to 5:00 Bed 7pm

My poor sweet boy has his first cold. He’ll be 8 weeks on Wednesday. As the day has gone on today he’s gotten more and more congested. He hasn’t felt feverish, but now I’m so paranoid about RSV. He’s been super clingy today and is currently sleeping on my chest after just cat napping all day. I hope we can get him down in his bassinet tonight or it’ll be a long night.

Same. He’s also still in maternity leave schedule which is wake up for the day at 9ish. Bedtime varies between 9-11. Lately (4.5 months) it’s been drifting earlier to 9.

hamster I’m sorry. My first was a terrible sleeper and it was so hard. We’re still cheating with a snoo with this one, but I have a feeling he’ll end up a lot like his sister.

Using all the tools available to you isn’t cheating. Don’t feel bad about the snoo!

I think daycare gave us the wrong baby yesterday. She was super happy all evening yesterday, went to bed without fighting, only woke up 2 times (!!!), and slept in an hour ish later than normal, and has been happy all morning. And then was super happy at daycare drop off (a miracle). I feel like she's buttering us up for something, but I'll take it. If this was how the majority of days went, having a baby would be so easy 🤣

I have to say, I'm jealous of you ladies that have an awake window of 90 minutes! That's typical in the morning, but as the day goes on, especially after he has a longer nap in the afternoon, he's awake for much longer. He's fought sleep from day one though. And, talking with my mom, I was the same way...so I guess I'm probably out of luck. I'm also still on leave so I'm not pushing the issue too much yet but will need to soon.
How often are you all feeding/nursing the 6m crowd?
While at daycare (7:30-4:30), DD drinks 5 oz of BM every 2.5 hours and eats 2 4oz purees. We also nurse once in the morning, once before bed, and once MOTN. I'm trying to add a 3rd puree post work but it rarely happens.

On a weekday:
7:30am - nurse at home
10am 4 oz. bottle
12pm 4 oz. bottle
12:30pm puree lunch
2pm 4 oz. bottle
4:30pm 4 oz. bottle
6:30pm puree dinner
7:00pm nurse
Bottle times are rough approximations, but he hits 4x4 oz. most days. When he's with me, he nurses more often, but less oz. I pump around 12 oz. per workday + 4 oz. at my bedtime to make his 16 oz. So I assume when he nurses all day he gets closer to 12 oz.
Puree meals are 2-4 oz. of puree, mixed with nut butter, ground nut, oatmeal, and/or whole milk greek yogurt. He has slipped to 11th% for weight, so we're trying to keep everything fairly nutrient dense.

He eats every 2 hours or so during the day, whether I’m nursing or he’s getting a bottle of pumped milk at daycare. He’ll go a little longer than 2 hours if he’s having a good nap. I’ve been sending 3.5 oz bottles, but might need to increase that since he’s still a slow gainer. We’ve just been doing solids at dinner during the week and dinner and lunchtime on the weekends. It’s hit or miss on whether he’s particularly interested yet.
Damn. I guess I'll keep feeding him every two hours. It's frustrating, but he's following the exact same growth curve as his bottle fed brother so I guess that's a good thing. And I'm worried about my milk supply long term so not spacing it longer is probably for the best. Blah.
