Starting yesterday afternoon I started having awful lower back pain. I figured it was because I had done too much cleaning and had overworked my back. Then I was up from 2:30-6amish because I couldn't even lay down due to the pain of my back and pelvis. Rolling over onto my other side caused excruciating pain in my back and pelvis each time. I tried bouncing on the yoga ball, getting on all floors and swaying, and even used a heating pad (on lower setting) for 20 minutes. I was eventually able to sleep for a couple hours.
Today I woke up with an insane burst of energy and urgency to get things done. Very unlike the rest of this pregnancy and my entire pregnancy with my son, lol. I've already cleaned the windows, done most of the weeding (our yard was getting overgrown!), cleaned all the bottles and pump equipment, finished all the laundry, and cleaned out the baby bathtub. DH keeps telling me to take a rest.I'm currently on the couch trying the heating pad again because this darn back keeps acting up.
I'm 37 weeks. Any advice on how to relieve this awful back/pelvic pain?
Try laying on your side and putting a pillow between your knees. It's suppose to take stress off your hips/lower back. I'd also monitor the pain. It could be the beginning of labor in the form of back labor. I had horrendous back labor with my second son because he was turned face up instead of face down. It felt like my spine was going to snap.
I’ve been laying with pillows between my legs and I was still in pain. :’( It’s not as bad today, so that’s good. I’m hoping I just overdid it or something.

So ready to have this kid!
That’s the worst. I get the energy to scrub the house and feel so shitty after. So sore! Glad you’re starting to feel better.
I think the only thing that will relieve the aches and pains at this point is having a baby. 😂 I’m sorry you’re in pain. It’s no fun, especially when you have energy to want to be up and moving.
