The hotel finally sent a report to my union hotel commmittee and they confirmed bed bugs. The pest control report actually said “heavy activity”. My union pretty much says they have done what they can. Now I need to act. I called an attorney yesterday but hasn’t called me back. Should I call back and say I’ve got the report confirming bed bugs? I want, at the very least, new luggage and clothes I threw away.
You may have already answered this question in the first 999,999 bed bug updates (lol) but did you make the hotel reservation on your own credit card? You may have insurance coverage with the card.

No, I’m a flight attendant. My company provides the rooms.

Since there's no denying the infestation, I would speak with the GM or the hotel's corporate office to make your demands. I'd be surprised if they refused. Replacing clothing and luggage due to bed bugs is not out of the norm for hotels.
