I had one that I loved when my oldest was a babe in arms. It was awesome and flattering...and had two dozen buttons from the collar asymmetrical down toward the waistline and trying to undo that mofo to breastfeed or pee was the devil. Cue the picture of me holding baby with only every fourth or fifth button fastened and you likely understand my adamant NOPEs. The granddaughter, however, picked up some for our last summer foray that are adorable and just dropped for ease of use. I'm all for trying them, as long as the cut is flattering and hides the bumps and bulges.
Aside from the peeing issue, I think the people that are in the nay camp just havenβt found the right one.
Iβm an absolute yay.
Same. I've got several cute rompers/jumpsuits. It took a bit to find it, but I love them. I'm also becoming insanely attached to pull on pants & paper bag pants. I may never go back to a zippered pant. LOL
My current jumpsuit love is this one from ON in a navy and white polka dot. It's perfect. Plus it's linen (I love linen) and it works perfectly with my blazer addiction.

Leave it to you to make me want to try a jumpsuit again!

Ha! I will say, I don't know if that ON jumpsuit will work on long waisted torsos. To be 5'7, I'm actually short-waisted, so the defined waist portion works well for me.

Only if you have a short torso. That poor model looks like she's got a front and back wedgie.
She's also probably 5'11" and wearing a size 2. Vs. my 5'6" self in a size 12...like all the dresses that are 3" above the knee on the model and halfway down my knee. But yeah, that is a concern.
I want to like jumpsuits, but I have a long torso and every one Iβve tried rides way too high up my business.
Any recommendations?
eShakti. Reasonable price and custom sizing. I'm 5'10" with all my height in my torso too.
I so want to love eShakti but everything I've purchased has not been cut to some of my measurements even though I pick custom sizing. I measure 18 inches from my armpit to natural waist. They cut things to 14 inches so the skirt starts above my waist and it looks maternity. I only managed to return 1 of the 3 items in time. I'm still pissed. They didn't give me a good way to make sure that I wouldn't have this problem in the future so I haven't ordered again.

That sucks. I'm sorry. I've only ordered one dress from there so far and just asked that it be longer, as most "midi" skirts are knee-length on me. I came quickly and was correct. I wanted to order a jumpsuit from them but I didn't love any of their current styles and ended up finding two at Marshall's that fit ok.

I saw a really cute v-necked, blue and white ticking striped one at Loft recently. Then I put it on. If I was going for fat, sexy, old-timey train engineer, I nailed it!

I tried on one that I both felt really cute and also like a formal Ghostbuster. They even had it in kahaki. (I tried on the teal)

I have this one:
I like it, but I have to have it hemmed (I got it from long tall sally, ergo, it's a 38" inseam) and a modesty stitch put in place because it gapes open on me.

I actually love jumpsuits and rompers but I spotted someone on the commuter rail yesterday wearing a full body royal blue crushed velvet jumpsuit and it was... not good. I thought of this thread.
