Trump Labor week? VP staying at Trump property in IRE

Am I missing a Trump thread? I looked but didn't see one.


Just wanted to dump on Pence staying at a Trump property in Ireland at a "small community where my mother's grandmother came from" or some such, clear across the country from where he was holding a meeting. It was done, of course, at the suggestion of Trump, and was at taxpayer cost. "It's the only one in the area capable of holding a group the size of the VP's party." This administration is absolutely, corruptively exhausting.

My family visited Doonbeg in 2010 ... it seems like a *really* small town. At the time I had no idea that Trump had (or was constructing? How long has it been around?) a club there.

Democrats need to make an example of this and shout it loud, every day ... they may be able to get through to some voters by pointing out that this jerk and his croanies are getting rich off OUR tax dollars through his golf clubs, immigrant detention centers, fossil fuel deals, etc, while regular Americans are getting nothing.

Pence officials said on the record that the president suggested Pence stay at his hotel. Later in the day Pence’s office called stories quoting those statements false and blamed the press.
